OK- million to one he came back... he knows he is not wanted...

... and a million to one IF he came back that he'd actually help us win games... :p he's not what he was.

You wouldn't stop supporting Liverpool would you though? and you would groan a bit but if he came on you would want him to do well so that we could win.

No... I wouldn't stop supporting Liverpool... but I might vomit a little every time he came onto the field... Maybe we should sign him... could do with losing 10lb... I hear a good up-chuck now and then is good for the weight loss...

...despite all that... yeah... would want him to do well... but every time he scored a goal- I'd be happy- but probably secretly wish someone else had scored it...

Like most fans would, the Baz/manciniii comment rubbed me the wrong way, think it did the same to Ze.

Hows SC? you getting the rain or shine at the moment?

It's strong wind and thunderstorms here at the moment...

... and from the sounds of things out the window it's like that outside too. Overall though hot and sticky humid...

I'm trying to recall- you coach at a University don't you? Or am I remembering incorrectly? Are they back yet? I thought most Universities started back later than now- you've got the kids already? I guess late evening- early morning training sessions arn't an option?

I have atm, High school which is 3PM-4:30PM and the club with the youth is 5PM-8Pm but here in Cinci the heat hangs around all the way to like 9 and then it breaks. College will be next year as I have some things lined up.

  9. The only possible time I'd be happy about MO being in a Liverpool shirt again would be if he bagged a hat-trick against Man Utd, if he did it two or three times I reckon I could forgive (sicked in mouth then)

Yes! You've slept through a lot.

Season is almost over- we got Hodgson back and signed Joey Barton, Derek Asamoah and Titus Bramble. We currently sit top of the table by 2 points with 1 game to go... granted- everyone else got a 90 point forfeit after the aliens from Scousatopia landed and passed the new rule that every team must have Jamie Carragher in it or forfeit 90 points.

    What's new?

Thought I'd ask as haven't been posting as much, although been in and around the forums whenever some news came about.

Whilst I'm here, might aswell give my current stance on the club -
    Content
Haven't watched any LFC games since Brendan Rodgers has taken over but the recent 3-0 win has come down with alot of praise so getting the feeling this system of high tempo passing and high pressing is working? I'm pleased with the transfer outgoings (Although I reckon Dirk, Bellamy and Maxi all did their fair share of contributing to the team).

I reckon we should look to move on Joe Cole but keep Charlie Adam for depth (Might aswell give him another chance). If we can sell Downing for a good price then let him go but if not then look to keep him for depth (Lacking some wingers at the moment). Use this season to bed in Sterling gradually and also look to sign 1-2 more forwards.

Signings I'd be happy with -
    Gaston Ramirez
    Scott Sinclair
    Theo Walcott

I reckon the above three can offer some good depth upfront and if we signed 2 of the above I'd be very happy! Not sure about Clint Dempsey, although he has the whole USA nationality marketing benefit, his not at a age which he can prove to be value for money on the pitch, at the end of the day, thats what matters most.

    Hello LJ <ok>

The Gomel game was decent (second leg improved on the first) but early days with regards to the formation etc. It did look good though so no complaints.

Personally I just don't see Walcott as being versatile enough for a BR team, I think he'll be looking for players who can interchange with each other and I'm not convinced Walcott is that adaptable. As much as I agree with you about Dempsey I did think on Thurs that a forward thinking midfielder like him would have had a field day in that system. Suarez's movement and Borini's hard work left some wide open gaps that a player like Ramirez or to a certain extent someone like Dempsey would have a field day with.

You joining the Fantasy league this year?
