This forum is hilarious at times, maybe Marney was the missing link...between footballer and headless chicken that is
still think were missing a centre mid player a winger and a forward still not much up top if our main two get injured
Besides West Ham last season who in this division does have much up front if their first 2 are injured?
I think Evans has goals in his locker. He finds himself in dangerous positions at times, he just needs to be allowed to do it. McKenna won't score though. No. Just won't. I like him a lot, but he can't shoot.
I see Evans as the type of player to come off the bench as he can inject a bit of life in to the midfield. As I said on another thread, i don't see him as one of the first names on the teamsheet at the minute. Give him a couple of years and it may be a different story
I wonder if as part of Korens contract negotiations with Steve Bruce,, where he plays has been discussed ? Boyd is ok but needs a hair cut without question. I would prefer Ryan Tunnicliffe myself. Liam Trotter wont leave the south or so he says in SSN daily news updates. Cue Southampton maybe ? I agree with this. Not since Nick Barmby hung up his boots have we had any impact players off the bench. Now we have a few who can change a game in the last 30 mins or so. When fit Evans will have to be patient. imo.
Ah well. Davide Petrucci, Ryan Tunnicliffe (Both Man U), Kyle Bennett (Doncaster) or Danny Galbraith (Hibs) would be cheap (in terms of loan deals for the first two). I've recently started working on doing scouting (via Leicester City of all places...) and a young lad from Legia Warsaw has caught the eye. His name is Mical Zyro, 19 years old and plays on either wing, in the hole behind the striker or in the centre midfield. A few eyes from the PL are on him, as well as Spain, Germany and Russia. Would he be interested in coming to City? Probably. Who wouldn't want to play in the Premier League?
