I must say that Lukaku sure is MON type of player, Heskey, Hartson, Heskey - He likes that big man to bring others into play. This could have some meat to it.
MON sounds sure with this comment "But I think we can rectify that." talking about a striker coming in..... It sound like he is 100% sure of it.
Only thing is we would probably HAVE to play him and no matter how good he might turn out to be he would be back at Chelsea next season, suppose it would help us for the season and give us more time to find others or players in other areas like a left-back. You dont say no when quality players are offered to you, even if just for the season, personally I think hes better than Fletcher
Could mean anything, could be refering to having Ji back soon, or making sure the current forward's know where the 'onion bag' is.
Would leave us in exactly the same position next summer. No thanks, unless its 23:59 on deadline day and we haven't signed a striker out right. And no he's not better than Fletcher. Belgium is about league 1 standard here and two good years there doesn't make you better than a proven premier league striker.
He's been utter **** in England. Really, really hoping the club isn't us Not interested much in improving Chelsea's players for them
If any forwards are available for loan we should be a preferred club to loan to as we have no forwards and whoever we loan should get plenty games. If we get fletcher then got guidetti & lukaku on loan I would be happy with that.
Confused Lukaku = 18 6 ft 3 cant get into the Chelsea team and when he has, he hasnt scored 8 games 0 goals (£13million rising to £18 million) Whickham = 19 6ft 2 1/2 cant get into our team and when he has he has struggled. (£8mil rising to £12 million) Surely we would be better off sticking to ours, and getting him better, than going with Chelseas and getting theirs better. We also have Noble and Ji as well I just think loans for any young strikers are pretty stupid, esp if we cant buy them, and it will take away from the playing time for the ones we have got. as for this we dont have any strikers, thats bollocks, we havnt got any experienced ones, but that doesnt mean we havnt got any.
Thought Wed learnt our lessons from getting loans. That's mainly what we are being linked with, hope its not true.
