I'm not in much of a panic. We have three weeks left of the transfer window. Yes, it'd be nice if we could get more players in before the City game, but it's not much of a loss if we don't. We're probably going to lose that game regardless. Just worry about getting players in before September.

I'm not bothered about the City game at all. The Wigan game is more 'important' for us. Our season won't be decided on games against City and United really.

Do you not think United and City will be our main title rivals then ?!

I've got to go to my cousin's wedding on the day of the Man U home game. Is it too late for sky to move the game to a Sunday?

It doesn't do any harm to take points from them though.

I wish our games would stop getting moved to a Sunday! Bloody Spurs at home on Sunday now means I have to complete the Great South Run then leg it over to Southampton for game. Feel sorry for person next to me...going to stink! Ha!

Not heard this anywhere but I reckon Stuart Holden would be a great signing for Saints. World Wide interest in him being American (shirt sales etc, Cortese's ideal signing) and the lad can play a bit. Surely worth putting in a bid of around £3-4million for him.

Very good player, but made of glass and in a position we don't need to strengthen.

I think of him, more as a Lallana type, versatile and agile. But he can tackle as well. I reckon he would be great in the formation that we might be playing this season as well (4-2-3-1)

I'd like someone like Seb Larsson. Never know what he might conjure up.

He would be great, for 4 or 5 games and a lot of money.

Lallana dived at Upton Park, and against Pompey at home.

    Your point?

Yeah, that'd be tragic. Best not waste our money on someone who may have taken a dive once. The seven goals he scored for Sunderland just meant nothing after that.

How have we ended up bashing our best player?
