Apparently they've rejected 12mil for him, that's ridiculous, he's a good player but he's definitely replaceable, especially when 12mil is the prize, have they still got Doyle?

Isn't the Wolves owner a total cretin? Jezz or Jed or something like that?

Maybe he's just getting his balls out and trying to convince everyone they're massive.

Fletcher's handed in a transfer request, only one way he's going.

Take the money and run Jed.

You're on about the Chief Executive Jez Moxey. The owner is Steve Morgan

That came from the Manchester Evening News, but most of the half decent rumour tweeters are saying he's still there, though most also think it's only a matter of time before he's having talks at Old Trafford.

Not many players do that nowadays. That will cost him a LOT of money in the short term although he'll probably make it up over the length of a contract.

It looks like Joe Allen to Liverpool is about to be announced, I know he's good, but £15m is a hell of a lot of coin for a player with just one good Premier League season.

It looks like RVP is on his way to Man United for £27m.

Where have you seen that? I've just been reading that SAF is saying that the deal has stalled as Arsenal are offering him to clubs in Europe

I think there is no doubt that Wenger would prefer RVP to go to Juve or elsewhere abroad so it isnt rubbed in the Arsenal fans face every week however Juve also know this, have already agreed salary terms with his agent, know his missus fancies Italy and hence wont offer the same money Utd do. They wont go over £20m so it's a big decision for Arsenal as to how important the extra millions are.

Arsenal are definitely playing hard to get, but RVP wants out, Arsenal want him out and RVP's being offered over £200k a week at United, I think it's only a matter of time.

I get the feeling that Wenger is trying to do what SAF did with Heinze and will not sell to Man U.

Which probably means he will be a Man U player by the weekend!!

The Italian press today is full of stories of Juve have apparently conceded defeat. The player is more than happy to go there, his agent has agreed terms and Wenger wants him to go there but Utd are offering £7m more.

Jez Moxey is called Poxy Moxey in some Wolves circles. He drives a very hard bargain both in and out. But as Wolves have cash in the bank and dont need to sell they can do just that. Fletchers request has been denied today but its again only a matter of time before he goes. £25m and you can have Fletcher and Jarvis. :bandit: <yikes>

Moura's agent said he rejected Manchester ONLY because he feels Manchester is a dull and boring place not to mention wet. He prefers the Paris culture. No accounting for taste and you cannot deny Manchester compared to Paris is very poor. <ok>

£27m for RVP is stupid money but as Man Utd have now missed out on Lucas Moura and they have that cash,, they may as well try to get RVP in. Also, Berbatov looks to be on his way out of O.T. very soon as well. <ok>

Papa Smurff Bates tells Colin that he now has to sell before anymore players can be brought in.

Perhaps they could isntead pay off a bit more of their monstrous debt? The Olympics has showcased again if needed how dirty football feeels with money and I genuinely think it would be much better, and dare I say it fans would feel more engaged, if they said 'screw it, come what may we're not making any unrealsitc signings this or for the next 3 years and we're getting our financial house in order by giving no new contracts north of 100k a week and we're getting by on what we have already plus the absolute cream of our youth team'. Well I'd respect it.

I really do feel something massive is going to go wrong the way Man City and PSG are going about their business. A huge name, perhaps Malaga or even bigger,is almost certain to follow what has happeend at Pompey.

Lucas Moura to PSG fee €43m + €250,000 per week wages for 4 years + €9m agent fees = Total transfer cost of €100m.

    Bonkers...
