Pardew says Harper doubt for tmw's game vs #MUFC - Krul to play. Ireland involved for 1st time. "He brings technical quality for us." #NUFC

George Caulkin on twitter who is generally very good.

Not too worried about that, Krul should be able to do well.

    Krul will be fine.

It's our strike force that concerns me.

At the risk of sounding like Lawro; I just can't see where the goals will come from against Man Utds defence.

Actually when Krul plays a blinder ie West Brom he is better than Harper IMO. Just needs to work on consistency. If he does have one of his class games for us then it might just be what it takes to hold man u to a draw.

Neither, but I'd back Tiote against their centre mids. So hopefully by percentages if we have the run of the midfield we should get some chances.

I think Krul has better reactions than Harper so I'm not bothered, only downside is we miss Harps' command of the back four

Colo will be back in defence so it should be less of a disorganised mess that you get from a Saylor-Williamson partnership.

Krul is not class by any means. He is young and has potential, but I wasn't that impressed with him when he got all of those games. His kicking is ****, at least Harper gets his over the half way line, Krul struggles to get it off the ground.

    Hopefully he has another blinder.

Ireland also playing according to that tweet. He's been pictured training as well so it looks like he's ok mentally to play.

Palermo is mine like but we will see. We will have to deal with attack after attack tomorrow. I'm not hopeful that we can get anything as Man Utd always seem to do us up here but who knows.

Strange night all round then <laugh>

Carroll made his european debut that night also. I remember we were done for injuries wise, and Luque was upfront by himself.

  17. why am i not suprised.

As far as our luck is concerned, Enrique and Jonas will get stuck in the bath together and will be unable to attend.

Heck lets just play a ****ing 4-2-4 sweeper formation, we might as well!

If he plays like Arsenal away : Brilliant.

If he plays like Citeh at home : It's going to be a long night.

  19. Krul wasn't fully to blame for the two early goals, it started with us pissing about with the ball at the back and putting Krul under unnecessary pressure. Tiote, Colo and Enrique were also culprets on that day.

His kicking seriously does worries me though. Krul was definitely at fault for their first goal. He could have just hoofed it out but passed it straight into their feet.
