I think you are angry, confused and a bit stupid (or just lazy). Clearly that is how you would like to think of the footballing world and you interpret all information to be in conformity with your pre-conceived opinion.

Utd broke the British record signing Keane all those years back and have done so several times since.

<applause>. But don't forget, they're the only club allowed to get themselves into financial trouble (over 500m debt).

We are, just waiting for a reason that isnt financial.

Also if you spend 100s of millions in one window you have bought the league, broken record or not its how it is.

Its like taking steroids before the 100m final. others trained bloody hard to get there while you injected yourselves.

If you were not blinded by your support for chelsea, and considered almost every football fan in the world sees it the same way you would see the point.

Whether its been good for the game is debatable.

We spend within 'our' means. Well within them.

You spend within your owners means, not your own. If you did that well.... you wouldnt sign anyone unless they were bosmans.

No, as I've previously pointed out (again not reading properly), you are not reading all of my responses to your arrogantly blinded musings on today's game.

It's not me who needs to take the tinted blinkers off fella, it's you.

    As have many other clubs.

Newcastle being one of them..... didnt work out very well.

Leeds are another, how did that go.

Rangers in the SPL....... going well I assume?

The money involved has increased, the fees have increased...... eventually...... well who knows. History shows us that bankrolled clubs always fail eventually. Will it be the case again?

Its not our debt. See that was easy.

We are a profitable business, a successful business on and off the pitch.

We also effectively have no debt, just so you know. Probably wise to stop using it as a point considering the near $1billion we have secured for the club this month. Then theres our nike deal to come.

Once the debt is officially gone, what will be your point?

Notice how it's only United fans backing you, nobody else. That is all.

PS Still haven't provided me with video evidence that Hazard's agent got £6m out of this deal.

£70million from an IP float reduces the debt to £350million.

Shirt deal with Chevrolet of £357million effectively wipes out the debt.

Kit deal with Nike expected to double the current one and be paid in full in 2015. £50million a year.

True the glazers may pocket it all but that would be stupid for them. Clearing the clubs debts would make them very very wealthy men once they decided to sell. Hell hey wouldnt need to sell and would still be very wealth and United would be insanely rich as a football club.

    Oh....

    funny that....

As I see it only Chelsea fans ( not all, some are not blind ) and City fans disagree.

Ok QPR fans but they dont count <laugh>

The Glazers will pocket a good chunk believe me, not to mention the remaining debt's interest. Only way to truely get rid would be to... oh bankroll!

Anyway let's move on from this bullshit about each other's clubs and get back on topic.

I will assume you have no reasons beyond financial.

I would of gone for location in chelsea and PSG's cases. Not in Citys though.

Still, not really a good reasons in football terms.

Of course they will take some, name one business owner who wouldnt.

They will pocket small amounts, which is fair enough but the vast majority will remain in the club, like the Nike and Aon deals before. These are 2 of our primary income sources after matchday incomes, they are used to run the club.

You 'assuming' means **** all, I have given my reasons throughout this thread.

I'll give reasons for Hazard anyway.

    1. Star man at Chelsea, he'll play almost every game, whereas at United you have Nani and Valencia who are two of the best wingers in the league.

    2. Location, London a much more attractive city (to foreigners).

    3. Trophies, something United did not get last season in contrast to the team he chose. If you think Chelsea are 'in the ****' with FFP as your argument against this, I can't be bothered to argue. Chelsea will always be challenging for trophies, every season.

If you'd bothered to look at my response to RR, you'd see I'm not denying money plays a factor in a player's move in modern day football, it's just not the sole reason Lucas/Hazard have chosen other clubs over your own.
