I dont think it would be too far from the truth to suggest that every top side in england who aspires to win the league places United as the team to beat. If you top United in the league then its likely you will be champions.

There has been no sign of this changing for decades now, we have finished no lower than 3rd since 1992 and even then that was on 2 or 3 occasions. The reality is if you finish above United you tend to win the league.

While we have no right to be arrogant we have every right to be very confident in our clubs ability to compete. Doesnt matter what we are up against, we have beaten them all and why cant we do it again?

We will win the league this season, however I dont see any more 3 in a rows happening from now on.

This is the kind of attitude that makes United universally despised.

It could never occur to their "fans" that just maybe players might prefer to join another club to further his ambitions. I had no problem with Robben joining Real Madrid for that reason. Or Pastore turning us down for PSG. Maybe just maybe Pastore preferred PSG and thought they were a better club to join at that stage of his career, I have no problem with that
