And this is why we support the lads as everyone keeps saying we need the youth coming through,,,,,,,,, http://www.lufcchat.com/leeds-united-news-gossip-and-utter-garbage/byram
Why not you would !! ever heard the saying "Never put a gun to someones head when your not prepared to pull the trigger"
Do you truly want to get rid of Bates? If so, you will not give him another penny. That is the only way to get the long term outcome we want - you take a hit on short term pain. While people continue to plough their money into Bates's coffers, he will continue to see it as a viable business that will make him money. So he will stay. He has made enough money out of the sales of players this pre-season to cover the costs of the new recruits. Prior to that he had no income and was down on cashflow, and the takeover was a serious proposition. But now that the Pseudo Bates Out crew are buying tickets for matches, he has cashflow. So he can keep hold of the club. He has got through the difficult period. Moan all you like about Bates being here, but while you continue to throw money at him, your actions keep him here. Hypocrite is one word for it. Another way of putting it is, as Old Peacock stated, "you are part of the problem" And you can get on your high horse all you like and tell me to **** off and insult me all you like, it will not change the facts: your actions keep Bates here.
You talk about pulling the trigger on Bates all the time, and have been very vocal today by all accounts. Yet when push comes to shove, you hand the gun over to Bates and grease his palm instead. You're not prepared to do anything except come across all high and mighty on a website. You could not be trusted on the battlefield
Read above shotgun head, my actions do not keep bates here at all, if he wants to go he will go, how do you think the players wages are paid ?, how are the stewards paid ? anyone who works at Er how do you think they are paid ?,stop thinking small !, the only way Bates will go is when he decides he is going, we voice our concerns about our beloved club by standing there supporting the TEAM and telling bates what we think of him, but to be honest he already knows does he not ??????, I for one alonside the 99% of Leeds fans would love to get promoted this season which means we give our team the support they deserve for pulling on the shirt and working there bollox off for the badge, staying away will get us nowhere it never has and never will, 30,000 every week supporting the lads and shouting bates out will do more damage than any of the stand outsides cos we hate bates will.
battlefield go **** yourself I served in serbia for 9 months dont ever ****ing compare this to a battlefield stupid ****
you really show yourself for what you are dont you lol a complete clueless idiot who knows **** all, by all accounts I was vocal does that mean you read some posts before typing the ****e you normally type you use the word BATTLEFIELD like you know what one looks like ???, have a good look in the mirror readdress your attitude and think about the bigger picture, and stop acting like an asshole you either love Leeds United or you dont ? and quite frankly I think you dont
Everyone has the right to act as they see fit, as long as it is within the law. However, to even think of attending any football games at ER is simply giving in to the Bates regime and I suspect those who do it, know that. It doesn't matter that you intend not to buy anything else, you have handed over cash to watch a game of football and the vast majority of that money will NOT be transferring onto the playing staff at Leeds United. I don't accept the argument that those who do go simply want to watch their team, I suspect it's more that they want changes at the club, but don't really want to do anything to support this, the "can't someone else do it" or the "why are all these people on the road, don't they know I've work to get to" attitude. It's your shout to attend or not, I simply ask that everyone looks at the bigger picture and realises what impact their attendance has on the future of this club. I don't agree that only 'real fans' stay away, that's too simple an opinion. It's perhaps more supporters of the club who feel a more militant stance is required and are not happy with those who continue to act as normal even though they know things are bad, that is the difference between us.
Some would argue that is better to not have a team than have this awful club run by Bates. Let it die and start again. The truth is the attendance money that is left over from all the payments to be made, does not get put back into the team, so your argument doesn't really stand.
