    doesnt make it acceptable over here though does it.

    I don't think they need creativity, a De Jong would be the perfect player IMO. An atheletic player who can break up play and do the simple thing. An enforcer.

    Real madrid are evil geniuses in regards to their transfer policy regarding Sahin.

    Loan him with option to buy but with a buy back clause in should he turn out good.

    Basically they want other clubs to train him until they have room but if he turns out worse than they expect they are already covered.
