  1. If he could stay fit then it would be a different story (same goes for my view on Agger) but last season was the best season he's had in England, and I'm not even considering the goals there!

baz must be the only person in the world who can be late when posting a one line reply <laugh>

He probably read my post then thought "****, I've got nothing to say, guess I'll have to fall back on accusing him of being in denial"

Not for £20M plus crazy wages, when you have an already aging squad, and your problem is midfield and you are in debt and there is no resale value and you have just offloaded Micky Owen from the Bench, a signing that stinks of desperation, like a boxer on the ropes trying a desperate last punch. Fergie's last stand.

I reckon he kept re-typing massive posts only to notice that whatever angle he was coming from was going to look like utter bullshit so he just decided to go for the 1 liner, half an hour later <laugh>

Shame about the tablecloth. Can't wait to see United players running around in that.

  12. I don't like Man Utd but I am not saying anything against them because of that.

I honestly think signing RVP is a bad move financially. There is no doubting he is a quality player but his injury record, age, transfer fee and wages all make for glum reading IMO. He could be another Berbatov, very expensive signing that gives you a season or two of top quality before leaving for nothing. Is that worth a £20m+ transfer fee and over £10m a season in wages? IMO, no it isn't, especially when the team needs recruitments in other areas such as C <ok>

However, ignoring the financial side of it, Rooney and RVP looks a very tasty partnership upfront...<ok>

Onto Man City, I don't think RVP would be first choice there. That does not necessarily mean there are two or three player better than him, just that Mancini does not like to stick to a starting eleven. I think RVP is better than Balotelli and Dzeko, however Aguero is better and there isn't much between RVP and Tevez, it really depends on what the manager is looking for from game to game.

Whats the problem with that? The fact that you now support Manchester City is out in the open, so why you have anything against Mancs baffles me.

Aguero is a lot quicker and has quicker acceleration. As Aguero approaches his peak, and RVP continues to decilne, the gap will only continue to grow, ditto Suarez.

    Aguero>Suarez>RVP Clear as day.

Can see where you are coming from with this but say what you want utd will be much stronger if he joins. It will be a gamble financially but they can do it.

  20. There is no doubt about it, they will definitely be stronger. Feel sorry for Welbeck and Hernandez though unless Fergie goes for a 433, can't see it when he has players like Nani, Valencia and Young plus he has prominently played 442 throughout the majority of his time at Man Utd.
