As soon as they sell a player they will but before? Cant see it unless its a squad player for a few million.

3 weeks til the window closes so time is ticking to get those players sold.

You know its true though baz as much as you dont want it to be.

I said all this a month ago and law and behold nothing at all from City. Not even rumours bar a few average joes like Scott Sinclair.

All their money and their 2 targets have gone to their main rivals..... understandable if they choose barcelona or madrid but City can easily outspend us ( apparently ).

Very strange.

 

The pressure is off for City, but then that also means that their focus will shift. Same way Chelsea shifted focus away from the league and towards the CL from 2006 onwards. But then as Chelsea showed that isn't always a good thing, as it is hard to build a side that does well both in the PL and the CL. Thus far only Utd have managed it.

No club in the league has more pressure than United, pressure we have to deal with by being the best. If we didnt have this pressure every season we wouldnt be the best.

Winning the league once doesnt make it easier the next time, only Chelsea have won b2b titles besides us in over 20 years of football. Its very very hard.

 

Desperately looking back through history as to why you will win back the league.

More straw clutching, desperation and ultimately a fail.

 

I would take him up on it if he had a second bet that FFP is already and will continue to effect citys spending habits from now on.

Tbh it would be cheating as the evidence is clear as day. 12 months ago city didnt thing they just chucked cash at someone and it was done.... no more.

Why is that? Are they that arrogant they feel they dont need to improve? Are they content with what they have or are they concerned about something?

So United are the only team that can handle pressure? BS. City have a better squad, that is the main reason why they won the league. Unless United sign some world class players, city will be favorites to win the league again, which they currently are.

All this pressure and FFP BS, is clutching at straws. Dominance ends. And it can be understandably hard to accept, the first stage is denial.

 

The hardest thing in football is winning the CL b2b.

Followed by winning the Premier League b2b.

Their poor squad almost cost them the league, ours is better imo. Would city cope with our injury list? Like **** they would.

And considering Chelsea did it, albeit at a time when United and Arsenal we in their worst patch for a while means clubs other than United can do it, they just dont.

and Kagawa is arguably world class while if we sign RVP thats world class without doubt.
