What does it mean by restrictiOns apply in family area? I tend to have a rather loud mouth and vulgar vocabulary at football games and I renewed in south stand unknowing it's a family area. Any way of moving stands?
You'd have to call up the Ticket Office I think and they will arrange for you to switch stands. I'm not 100% sure though because I'm not a season card holder
Any swearing in the South will get you in bother next season, no doubt. You might have left it too late to move now, but its probably worth ringing and asking anyway.
Just call them up and say 'Oi ****, I'm in the ****ing south stand and I ****ing hate kids, will there be an issue this season, you ****er?'. That should do the trick.
Tell them you've got ****ing tourettes and if they don't ****ing move you you can't ****ing be responsible for what you might bitchtits say.
Good excuse, my mate came up with that yesterday at the game so that you could get your tickets cheaper and swear
I think it refers to new applications only being accepted where there is a child as part of the deal and not from adults only. Having said that no doubt our jobsworth stewards and any police hoping to justify their ridiculous presence ( Old Trafford and The Emirates and others manage with far larger crowds but no police lounging around in great numbers) will be itching to eject anyone who makes too much noise of utters the odd bloody or damn.
Part of the reason they've done it is to improve the atmosphere. Anyone remember Burnley at home where the North Stand was taken over by kids, there are plenty of other areas of the stadium you can sit if you're wanting to swear, its not difficult.
Yes but not when the club didn't mention the seat you've had for the last 5 years will now be part of a family stand, unless you'd expect me to buy extra match day tickets to sit elsewhere. I will try my hardest to curb my language but it WILL be shouted extremely loud at times most likely very game, I can't help it, when it's us playing I'm a possessed man.
To be fair Bob, they haven't exactly made a secret of this, they announced the changes with some fanfare in May, when they announced the 'kids for a quid' tickets.
Bob, that's what you get for living in a cave . The changes have also been mentioned on a fair few threads re season passes lately I think?
To be fair I dont go to these fan fair things or barely ever look at the OWS, it would have been nice to have a big hazard warning saying "Warning! South Stand will now be a family stand" or at least some sort of noticeable statement on the renewal form. With it being a family stand, there'll still be a bookies on the concourse right?
The last I heard there wasn't going to be a bookies on the concourse at all because no company had taken up the contract. They're still running for FC games but the catering has all changed since they were last at home so it might have just expired.
