Basketball? That is a good sport, It is pretty constant, loads of action and skill involved. Just cause you are no good at it don't knock it!

So is RVP at United? I see nothing on it.

Its slightly more energetic netball.

Baseball is glorified Rounders and Basketball glorified Netball and American football same as rugby wearing padding.

 

RVP was with Arsenal this morning, pictures on Arsenals site confirm it. Why they would feel the need I am not sure but they did.

A number of journos who are known for being generally ITK regarding United and Arsenal began spunking like nutters over some info. This turned out to be RVP flying into manchester to complete a move to United...... not confirmed.

Dutch papers are convinced...again, what would they know.

Then the chairman of MUST said he was at Bridgewater having a medical around 4.30 today. He said he didnt get his info off twitter but a much more reliable source.

Either way, I will give you americna football, but basketball is quality and you can really get into it and good passion for it.

 

When fans say United are weak or weaker han last season do they really believe it or is it wishful thinking.

See I and most United fans see us as stronger.

 

As it stands, you are more or less the same, The older players will play less but to counter this you have Kagawa and Vidic will return.

Still fancy City, but RVP would improve you dramatically.

Vidic will be the same though he may take a game or 3 to settle back into things, hes not a player who relies on pace so I dont see how he will be overly affected by his injury lay off. He also isnt likely to play with fear, I mean come on.

Our young players are all a year older and all missed out by the skin of their teeth last season. They will be hungrier and better this season.

Granted Giggs and Scholes are even older but with Kagawa coming in the weight is lifted from them both. Kagawa offers the creativity we usually expect from Giggs and scholes.

Rio is again older but last season showed he can still do it and his injury worries seem to be behind him for now. A weak link granted but not that weak, a very good weak link to have if we must have one.

Midfield is a concern as always because if Carrick gets injured we are stuck, hopefully hes made of steel!

 

Yea, so in summary you are the same. City will have plusses too, having won it will release the burden of pressure to succeed. They will sign a centre half, there biggest problem was when Kompany was out. They missed Tevez, and Toure will not go to the African nations.

The squad will be more settled and used to how each other plays.

You will deny all this of course. But it's facts so whatever.

 

True the pressure of winning the league is gone....

but its been replaced with huge expectation. Can they do it again? Would be quite alarming if they suddenly fell away as now they are expected to win.

Life at the top is a life full of pressure and expectation, winning anything just adds more pressure. Most teams cant andle it so will be interesting to see.

FFP is already killing them btw, hence the no signings and the fact they cant sell anyone due to having the worst transfer policy ever until PSG came along makes it even harder.

Maybe so, still pressure though but expectations are bigger than last season. They know they almost blew it aswell so thats self made pressure added on.

Personally think they will flop this season as they go for the CL and fail bigtime.
