Its too late mate, they have already ruined it and good posters are leaving. I come on here for crack with Sunderland fans and decent Mags but the 2 or 3 ****wits from the darkside have turned the Sunderland board into a continual fight and the fact the Mods have allowed it has killed the forum. BBC606 might have been frustrating at times but it was far superior in its application and this would have never been allowed to happen. They would have suspended posters then banned them.
Bollocks, Cest. The wums ran that site and the mods never took action for bloody ages. I got banned twice though, courtesy of some ****-stirring wums. I was delighted to see it go down the tubes and Not606 take its place, but it seems we're not grown-up enough to self-moderate, which is a bit of a sad indictment on us.
Slippery slope for me. I don't agree with banning, they would have to really over step the mark for that to happen. Unlike on their own board, our mods have been spot on allowing them to post and show themselves up.
Disagree about BBC606 Cest. I was banned a couple of times. Not for swearing or abuse but for having the temerity to answer back to Mags on the Sunderland board. Just like on here I never went on their board there. My last ban was when I accused the Moderators of being Mags as they were allowing the Mags on the Sunderland board free rein and deleting Sunderland supporters posts. I read all my deleted posts with a fine tooth comb and couldn't find a single thing that warranted deletion. But they had that anonymous report post button. (Never used once by my good self.) And didn't the Mags love it, it was their precursor to the Rep button. All of the above with no right of appeal!
Resisted so far with having people banned, if that is what the majority want it's up to you lot.... Names and reasons please.
do you or don't you realise that most people asking for bannings include you on that list too? In fact the guy above said one mag and a few sunderland lads.
Just came on to thank Syd for the work that he's done on this site, which has often gone either unnoticed or been incorrectly criticised, in my opinion. Cheers and good luck with the other site.

Cheik - if you and your mates were not as here as often the there would not be as much antagonism as is happening now. I don't want toon fans banned, however a suspension or a moratorium for a couple of weeks just allow things to settle down and the Sunderland fans to concentrate in what matters the most - our team, not you and not your team. I do not think anyone should be allowed to post more on another teams board than their own - if they are doing so well you should give up your team and start supporting not606/Sunderland forum as that is obviously where your loyalties lie. Commachio - if you out there in the ether - do you think it is reasonable for a supporter of another club to post more on their rivals board than their own, is this really "in the spirit of the forum"?
Epic fail on your part tbf. Just because I don't post on the Newcastle not606 forum, doesn't mean I don't post on others. To talk about Sunderland, I use not606, for Newcastle, I use toonforum.
Not being funny but isn't this exactly what many Newcastle fans used to complain at other Sunderland fans for doing.
Epic fail Cheik ?- its not a game mate, I'm just giving my opinion. And to be honest you are an arch hypocrite, you post your thoughts about your club on a forum where we have no right of access to comment about your opinions on your team, yet you come on here to comment about our opinions because you can. If everyone does what you do then nobody would post on here. You are the definition of a Wum and if a mod reads this I hope they show you the door once and for all.
