I did say I think I am being unfair but there is something about him I can't take to. His website and the "The Robbie Rogers" thing, his tweets and blog entries based around shopping and his image even his facebook page, all he goes on about is clothing and fashion, he just comes over as a right pansy. Maybe if he put as much effort into his football he would be picked more. If he wears a Leeds shirt I will cheer him on and support him on the pitch, I would be VERY surprised if we see much of him though.
I agree with you there Ristac, apart from McCormack he's our last remaining player with an ounce of flair, so I doubt he'll figure much at all.
But isn't that sad when we talk about a flair player being Rogers... I know my comments come over very harsh on him but come on, does anyone really believe he will be anything more than another Nunez? I wasn't happy when we signed him and nothing has changed my opinion as yet.
Absolutely, especially when you've been raised seeing the likes of Eddie Gray, Duncan McKenzie, Tony Currie, Frank Worthington, Gordon Strachan, Mark Viduka etc pulling on the white shirt.
I remember going to school with a mate of mine who supported QPR the day we sold Currie, strange how that gutted feeling never leaves you even as you get older and you watch a great player sold.
He came over from the US with a much better reputation than Nunez. And I also think it's harsh to claim he doesn't care about his football just because, unlike our other players, his life outside of football consists of more than XBox and Nando's.
