Hopefully that could be solved though if we bring in another winger as it would allow Koren to move into the centre giving us another threat
Well I personally think Cam and Aluko are spot on for our needs. We've got a slow team and we need to be represented by pace on the wings. Yes Cam is frustrating and had a bad spell last season but Ive no doubt he'll come good when he relaxes and gains some confidence. Once he has a blinding game / assist / goal I think we'll see a new player.
How do we know if we dont try it? Some things that seem a strange idea on paper sometimes work out in reality. And Koren isnt a pure flair attacker, he will track back and play a simple ball when required.
We just need at least another winger though. In an ideal world we'd sign Elmohamady/Hammill and King. Add a box to box midfielder i.e. Watson and then we can really challenge.

Ive got a sneaky feeling that once Hobbs is fit we might see Faye in centre mid. Not based on anything like, I just get the feeling Bruce thinks we lack presence in there.
Dawson - Bruce jnr - Evans - Oli are all carrying knocks. Only Evans has a chance for the Rotherham game. Rochdale Won 3-1 in the end. Stoke were held 1-1 @ Torquay and Barnsley lost 1-0 at some lower league club. Pre-Season it just that. Pre-Season and a fitness excercise. Far too much is made of poor form and results. Cooper will be out for 3 weeks at least. Shame as i think he has been as good as any during pre-season. I agree. Looks good to me. Add in Amos in goal and a back 4 of Rosie - Chester - Faye - Dudgeon. Very solid. Having Rosie & Dudg overlapping the wingers as we need to start creating chances for starters. Options on the bench as well. I enjoyed the game even though goal mouth action was very rare. But the passing and movement showed great promise. imo Grant Holt looks to have taken in the Parkin diet. A few waistlines in the Norwich team look in need of a reduction. I bet Holt went for the super size bucket after the game.
