Prem clubs have decent defenders that they want to loan out, when they announce their 25 squad then we will be able to pick on them up. If you think about it the best 3 defenders we have had, have all been loanees, be patient mate

Well we have Bournemouth and the Gillingham game is essentially one as well, just with limited subs. I don't see the worry. With every purchase a Premier League club makes another player, possibly one with real quality at this level, gets pushed into a loan/reduced fee position. Plenty of weeks left with the loan market lasting even longer after that. The last thing this club needs is for Del to rush in and purchase a guy based on reputation warranting an inflated fee/wage that he doesn't live up to. And there's a few players who that applies to, one of which is still at this club.
