I agree with you Munky, Ward is good enough for us if called for, but you cannot just count mistakes that cost goals (which I'm sure were more than the Liverpool game). I like Ward but he does make alot of errors which and causes us problems when he's using his feet to kick a ball. It builds an unwanted pressure on the team at times.
He made 29 league appearances that season 12 for Hull, 17 for Derby. That included him at Liverpool for January and half of February because he was recalled. I don't think that's bad at all. Last season was pretty injury ridden admittedly, but Tierney's also had a big layoff which was about 50%, from an injury that was pretty mysterious and I have full faith in him being fit all next season. Bellamy had years of injuries and has been pretty good last three seasons so again, surely faith has to be shown in a player to get fit. Why is it unfair to not want Ward because he is probably one of the weak links in our squad? Ignorance to other peoples opinions I think.
