Not quite but their manager is looking at a 3 month ban minimum, the assistant managers future isn't clear and one of their backroom staff has already resigned. And it looks like Bonucci and Simone Pepe will be facing bans too.
My ex (Italian) girlfriend always used to say that Italy's a third world country, it's just that no one has told the Italians. Her evidence was their glorious political system and their drivers. To be fair, she had a point. Incidentally, I know why there are so many catholics in Italy: one taxi ride and I was offering up prayers to St. Jerome, St. Theresa, St. William of Shatner, anyone who might be listening. And I'm a godless atheist.
If he wants a good deal from another club after his contract finishes (assuming he stays) then he'll have to put in another good season.
You know exactly what I mean. He wants out. Keeping him their will just alienate him. He may well have to play for you, but his heart won’t be in it
If he is playing in an Arsenal shirt, then I would expect him to be fully committed to the cause. Thus, if he is an Arsenal player this season, then he will be an Arsenal player It's quite simple really
I think the point that Roman is trying to make is that although RVP may remain a Gunner, he won't be a Gooner.
He's saying he'd struggle to do as well, not that it'd be a bad season. He did tail off a little in the second half of the season... well by the standards he set it the first half he did anyway.
Why would he struggle to do as well ? He now has the extra support of Podolski, Giroud and Cazorla around him. If anything, he would probably get more chances.
