This. I love a bit of the old, "now I don't know if there's anything in it, but my auntie was cutting Joe Allen's sister's next-door neighbour's minge pre-vajazzle and she said she saw Brookside once and that looked very much like Liverpool. It's a done deal if you ask me"
If you listen to Mr Laudrup he is saying that joe is worth more than £20 million and as all the other managers pick themselves of the floor with laughter you have to ask what do other managers say about their players....they all put an over the top value on their players and they also say there is no interest in any of his players... Is he trying to say that our players are not worth coming in for or what...he he you have got to giggle sometimes what is reported....last time it was jinks who said that rodgers had not been approached by liverpool and within 24 hrs rodgers was installed as liverpool manager.. ....Quote by jinks that martinez is going nowhere as wigan have not come in for him... you have to laugh at some of the things that managers and chairman say sometimes....I will wait until the qpr game and see then who is still here and who has arrived here and whatever happens happens. Its only football.....
what so you really think rodgers is going to pay 20 million for a young player? nope thats why he put the price tag on him. ML is trying to say that he is not for sale. look what KD did last year spent millions on young players and it kicked him in the arse. i think the owner wont make that mistake twice.
he can put any tag on him he likes it wont make a blind bit of difference if joe is determined to go. we will be forced to sell at joe's release price.....
I don't know how many times I have got to say it, but Joe Allen is going no where!! Dai is just winding you all up, he knows nothing regarding the situation, and I'll put money on Joe staying! So hows that....................
Well, they can't be forced to sell if there is no bid. If Liverpools written agreement is overlooked, then surely the release clause is also overlooked. Don't you think...?
The earlier release clause is what makes Rodgers promise a non event . 12.5 plus the player loan was suppose to trigger the release clause IMO , or make it a bone of contention at the very least .
Why were you so sure he wasn't going to be sold and move? Did you have some inside info and that was, in reality, wrong?
Unfortunately it doesn't work that simple. Like I said on here two weeks ago, Joe's clause over powers the Rodgers protection agreement. If Allen didn't have that release clause, LFC would not of been able to pursue him (if the clause is a written contractual one and not just a 'gentlemans agreement') without facing legal action.
