Bale - BEST IN THE WORLDDDDD! Says alot that Walcotts scored as many goals and made as many assists as Bale in the past 2 seasons, don't get me wrong very dangerous player and at such a young age has the potential to go on to be one of the best left wingers but atm the media just need to reign the praise in a little bit.

Parker - SCOTTY PARKER 10 OUT OF FACKIN 10! The job he does is great, but he has absolutely nothing going forward, no vision, no creativity and no skills with a ball. It angers me when we have Tiote who runs just as much, makes just as many tackles and actually has some ability with a ball at his feet to take someone on and ping a 40 yard ball out wide but the media go on about Parker like he's the best DM in the world when he's not even the best DM in North London.

John Terry - Probably the most passionate, inspiring player on this list, a true leader and his heroic blocks and tackles risking his body to defend are some fantastic traits that none are better at. But alot of the time most of the goal line clearences, head first blocks wouldn't be needed if he was positionally better. You don't see Rio making last ditch tackles or goal line clearances purely because he's such a good reader of the game he's one step ahead of a striker 99 times out of a 100

Ledley King, Wes Brown, Fabio Aurelio, Woodgate. I'd say Darren Anderton and Jamie Redknapp but maybe the era is wrong!

    Bale
    Scholes
    Valdes

Bale is good, but limited, one footed and increasingly egotistic.

Scholes was a great player, but contrary to popular belief did not event passing.

    Valdes is just ****.

Woah! Woodgate!? Was probably the best defender i've seen at NUFC until Colo's form and ability to make defending look like the easiest job in the world in the last 2 seasons has eclipsed Woodgate. And for all your old timers I'm only 21 so I'm sure there were better defenders in the past but I'm talking about in my time/memory!

Don't agree with Vidic, obviously but I guess it's your opinion.

I do however wholeheartedly agree with Alves, he could only ever look good playing for Barca. Put the guy in a team where he would have to do any defending and he's amateur.

    Mine...

    1. Mertesacker - should seek equestrian-related employment on Blackpool pleasure beach as far as I'm concerned. Worst defender in PL history.
    2. Ribery - What on earth is the fuss about? He just doesn't impress me on any level, complete joke.
    3. Hulk - I'm not saying the guy is a bad player but every time I read his name I hear Zidane/Ronaldo type transfer fees - massive gulf in class between Ronaldo and Hulk.

Also think Parker, Taraabt, Reina, Ashley Young, Walcott, Schenzchnszney, Van Der Vaart and Suarez (obviously) are worth a mention.

    How was Fabio Aurelio over-rated!

Did a good job and was never given credit for it!

I think the tangent we took on Owens fitness XI is confusing a few people! All those in that XI are good players and not really overrated.

    NI revolution in red

I think it's an all time injured 11.

I'll let you off with Scholes, we don't expect you lot to acknowledge how good he is/was, it means much more from people like Pele and Zidane anyhow.

Yeah, was just an XI who are likely to get the least number of appearances combined. Must be up to about a collective 3 appearances per season now?

I know Woodgate was class, just his injuries he's had have destroyed his career.
Somebody could do an overrated XI though, maybe should limit the number of English in there? <laugh>

Parker - extremely good at running round in circles and passing to a CB... But even just passing forward is a difficult task for him

Suarez - yes hes good on the ball, but his finishing is horrific and hes a liability.. Good player but not as good as people make out

Sturridge - complains about being a winger but cannot finnish for **** and tries way to many fancy flicks!

He was good, but if he wasn't English he wouldn't have got half the adulation.

Also there were (are) huge negatives to his game.

For the injured list... Pierluigi Casiraghi - Chelsea signed for £6m in 1998, played 10 games, scoring one goal in 4 years during which time he had 10 operations.

    Over-rated:

Sturridge - Does the hard things well but misses too many easy chances in the matches I've seen.
Victor Moses - Good ability but the idea that he'll get into chelsea ahead of their other signings seems far-fetched from what I've seen. Reminds me more of Lua-Lua than Zola.
Fowler - Great player but when you label someone as 'god' then you are over-rating them!

NI Revolution...You mean Scholes can't tackle?

Floyd Mayweather doesn't pack a powerful punch.

Scholes' abilities have been acknowledged worldwide, you know fine well it's nothing to do with his origin.
