I think it is a case that he has only just signed for the club and probably has two years or more to run on his contract same as Pugh. I bet if a bid was placed on the table for either of them it would be accepted like a shot.

YW, I doubt Grayson would have lied on this. It may just be Somma's recovery is taking longer than first thought. Its not an exact science for such a major injury. So I'll accept that Grayson wouldn't have been aware of this at the time. hat said, i es heighten the need for an additional striker.

Somma was back in light training just before the season ended. He was expected to be doing full pre season training, but tweaked his knee again. He was then back on crutches and goosed which upset Warnock, and I believe he's had a go at our medical team. Becchio should have had an operation much earlier than he did, and would have had a full season last year. The medical team decided he wouldn't need one and gave him treatment, only for him to crash out of pre season. We had the same with Billy because he signed, got injured and was then out for ages, and that's happened a few times with some of our players. Maybe Colin's doing some changes in the background too.
