good to see but how are we going to pay them? the stadium will be empty tonight. no **** is buying season tickets either.
That sandazza isn't a bad player. Will rip it up at that level. Dunno bout the Brazilian. Good signings thus far to be fair by mccoist. Getting them to play at that level is some going
The team is coming together quite well now, some of the signings we're making would be good signings if we were still in the SPL so to still be getting these players in the 3rd division is some going. Having said all that, I have the same thoughts as Nev. How are we paying these players? Where's the money coming from? Are we just getting ourselves into more debt or what? I hope not but you have to wonder.
Rangers have been champions 54 times The Rangers have never been champions...ever Good signing though
Glad about Sandaza's signing. Have no idea whatsoever about the boy from Brazil. I can't see the point in buying Kyle in that we seem to be fairly well covered already in that position. Possibly signed for the physical aspects of his game although he's a bit of a risk because of his injuries, but hey that didn't stop Everton signing wee Naisy did it?
McCoist says they've sold 22,000 tickets - club deck is reportedly to be shut. Just as well it isn't 100,000 at 3 friendlies in a week - that would surely signify that their fans have been turned off by not playing Celtic and would infer that sporting integrity is a sham
Where the **** are The Rangers getting the cash to pay for these guys ... Read rumours that Sandaza's getting £5k a week - after tax!
If he's on say £5000 a week that would work out at selling 1007 season tickets. I know this will probably open a floodgate of nobodies buying tickets, but even if we sell about fifteen thousand it should probably cover the new guys.
Goian and Bocanegra must be for the off if this big brazilian is signed. When was the last time a brazilian came to Scotland and was any good. They're at best average, at worst Scheidt. The amount of players gone will leave a soem wage budget even after cuts. Davis, naismith, whittaker, lafferty et al were all on good money. The worry is that if this is a gamble by green to get fans to buy season tickets, if it fails then the outcome is ****ing awful.
Sorry I'm struggling to break this code, come again? Tell me, why was Peter Lawell begging people to buy tickets then?
