    Mine -

    1. Vidic - He's world class. He's a fantastic defender, but he's not, IMO one of the best. He gets away with so many blatant yellow card offenses, and avoids so many deserved suspensions. The two seasons before the last one, he should have been off at least 3 times within the season. He puts in so many ****ty, rash challenges. He's awesome in attack from set plays, he's a great player, but IMO, he's not up there with the best CB's in the world for me, at least not yet. Sorry.

    2. Alves - Fantastic in attack, very quick. He's a good defender, but he's not world class defensively, from what I've seen. If he didn't have such fantastic pace to get back, he'd be a liability for Barca, if he wasn't one already for quite a lot of games. If Barca didn't have so much possession, he'd get ****ed over quite a bit. He's a great player, and a great defender, but no where near as good as a lot of people say he is.]

    3. Terry - He's still got good quality around him. He reads the game very well, and his experience shows, but his reactions aren't what they used to be, and his tackling isn't as great. He's no longer up there for me, but he still gets called one of the greats, if he puts in a good shift for England or Chelsea. People completely ignore is blatant inconsistency. Plus he's a ****, which a **** attitude. He can't control his dick off the pitch, and he's still letting his team down with his poor technical performances at times, and also cheating and lashing out.

Bale - Sure he's quick, and he's got a decent shot, but he's extremely injury prone, does not score or assist as many as he should, and he has absolutely no right foot.

Neymar - All the buzz about this kid, but I'm yet to see him do anything impressive against any half decent opposition. Look at lukaku, just because a player looks good in one league, doesn't mean he'll cut it in another. No doubting his talent, but whether or not he has what it takes to cut it outside of Brazil is another matter.

Modric - Again, he's got immense talent, and if he moves onto bigger things with better players around him, we may see more. But his end product is where he struggles. His assists and goals numbers for the past two seasons have been tiny iirc. Needs to add more to his game to really be worth as much as Spurs are asking for him.

Barry - Everyone in football rates him but I just can't see it. To be fair he ran the game at St James from start to finish and had to watch Toure take the plaudits despite contributing little else except the goal. However hand on heart, that is the first time I've watched him and saw what the fuss is about. I'm not suggesting he is rubbish, but I can't understand the love in you hear from players, managers and pundits.

D Sturridge - Not a lot needs said. He gets a big rep but what has he actually done bar his season at Bolton? He's greedy beyond what is acceptable for a striker, looks to have a terrible attitude and can be non existent on the pitch. I have no doubt the lad is talented but a lot of work is needed.

Pique - Good defender but not the world beating centre back he is billed as. When Puyol is missing he looks suspect.

Neymar is over rated as ****, I agree, but you really can't blame the kid. He's shown immense skill and potential since he was 17, but he's still very raw, he just needs a club to take and develop him. But Barca payed Santos 10m so they couldn't sell him to anyone but them for 2 years!

No doubting his talent and potential, it's just people hype him up so much despite him not actually proving it against anyone really tough yet. If he did go to Barca and prove to be quality in both El Clasico and Champions League, then he can say he's not Overrated. Is that true about the 10m for two years thing though? Seems a bit suspicious, and a hell of a gamble.

He was outstanding in the Brazil Belarus game at OT, got 2 great assists and scored one hell of a free-kick, gave the crowd a brilliant show and showed his class.

If anyone doubts that Neymar is the real deal, watch that game. He even got bored and skilled his own player...

All just rumours but supposedly the clubs have an agreement for him to join in 2014. They made the first 10m downpayment of a reputed 60m transfer earlier this year. No way of really knowing but there isn't a lot of speculation about him which suggests clubs know something is in place and Barca reps were very coy when asked about it.

That's why I'm still dubious. It's all very well doing it against an Olympic Belarus side in a team worth half a billion quid, but what happens if he comes up against world class defenders, who are playing in a team of roughly equal value to the one he's in? I'm waiting to be convinced on him until he plays against a decent side. I saw him in the world club championship final thing last year against Barca and he was simply woeful.

And transfer to Barca sounds interesting. That should be his chance to prove himself, that or in the world cup in 2014. 60 Million is still a hell of a lot though.

Oh yeah, heard about that. Apparently they're trying to make Keiron Dyer and Owen Hargreaves their first signings. Wonder if they'll ever have enough players to play a match :p
