Afternoon All In an attempt to freshen up the page, I invite all to help in trying to find a new banner for our page. The problem is that it has to be 1800 pixels wide. This is quite the challenge when searching google images - so I'm not sure if it's something anyone on here can help with (is it possible to photoshop an image we all like to meet target?). Please feel free to have a little look around and direct me to an image you think would be suitable to the board. Thanks

See what you mean about lack of suitable pics online, all very small in comparison. I have no photoshop skills whatsoever but found a bigish pic and just trimmed it a bit, if anyone can make it clearer or sharper wouldn't be a bad shout
Cheers Jimmy - I'm pretty useless at this sort of information in regards to photoshop and photo size, but I'll link some of the posts from the mods forum as to what is required: Can you remember how big the banners need to be? 1800px wide by 350px tall sounds familiar. Definitely 1800 wide. I was never given a height so maybe not too relevant. According to the designer it was more than 1800 pixels, but when he posted it on here, it reduced automatically to fit the page! So it seems the width is the most important thing, and it then compresses the height if necessary.
Banner was 1920x375, but the actual size should be 1800x375. I noticed when trying to trim it though if you put 1800 as width it will only allow 374 or 376 for height. So I'd go with 1800x376
Thanks for the information - you seem to know more than 99% of the site . Right, so Jimmy has made it easier in what to look for. So if anyone can assist then great. In the meantime I'll continue searching and ask any of my boffin friends if they can help.
Was not that hard to figure out, i just saved the banner to my desktop and had a look at the properties
Haven't really posted on here at all, but this interested me so I've had a go. Attached is quite basic and I know the dimensions aren't quite perfect but I think it should fit. Would someone (I don't know who changes the banners/admin stuff!) be able to check to see if it works because if it does, happy to try something else What do you think?
Hi Super Yann - the person who changes the banner is the head honcho to the site. I'll pass it over to him to see if dimensions etc are correct. Design wise, I like it (lets the world know we are CHAMPIONS). I am hoping to have a selection of banners and will put it to the vote so the forum can decide. Did you create it yourself or come across it from google? GP - do you have any images that might be 1600 pixels wide? Thats if you are offering them, of course.
I made it quickly on PowerPoint so nothing too technical! But can make the design better and include photos if I know that the sizing I have done is okay. Always good to show we are champions though, I agree. COYR

We can only upload images with a maximum height of 600 pixels or somewhere around there hence why they are coming up smaller. Best bet is ask a few trusted individuals to email them through. Sorry for the spam, did try to delete previous posts but i cant figure out how
