Who? By a strange quirk Lincoln was one of the hairiest away days I've experienced personally - back in the early 80s I was a University student and went to watch a League Cup game there which we lost 2-0! Anyway my mate from Uni who was a Lincoln season ticket holder drove to the game and went to sit with his old man - I went around to the away end and met my mates - had a right old time getting back around the ground to meet my mate after - a few of the locals were out looking for lone foxes and I had to be pretty quick on my heels to avoid becoming a fox hunt casualty.
We all have war stories.. I was singled out when I was with my girlfriend, by the inter city firm a few years back..had my new leather coat and lcfc scartf on, they shouted "there's one".. and about 50 ran towards me...I handed my girlfriend my coat and told her to move away...I figured more than one of them would be a faster runner than me...so I stood my ground.just as we got into it, a couple of police meat wagons came around the corner...the only time I was happy to see the coppers..
