    Afternoon all,

    I was an irregular poster on the Beeb, and felt quite lost when it shut down. I was in read-only mode on JA & here for a while before finally beginning to post. I've got quite used to the format here, and avoid JA as much as I can now. It's more te format than the posters that drove me away, surprisingly.

    As for our remaining signings, I think the writing is on the wall. We don't have any money, it would appear, so we're either going down the loan route, or taking a risk with untested players. My big hope is that Warnock's network will unearth a cheap foreign gem, much in the way of Austin. Fingers crossed on that one.

    Btw chaps, going offline for a couple of weeks, unless I can find some internet cafes in the Nordics. I refuse to pay the fees on the cruise ship. Bloody robbers.

    Went to Amsterdam on a ferry earlier in the year and the Wi Fi was excellent, and free! Enjoy your break either way pal <ok>

    I went on a two week cruise about 5 years ago (Ocean Village), moored in Barbados. Each day woke up at a different Island. I swam with turtles, went to rum distillary, went to Dolphin park, spent a day on the Sandles resort, visited beaches and went to a rain forest... Great fun....

    Skimming through that thread and you can see not much has changed. I miss Wortley & Pags, but even back then as what happens now on JA topics get constantly derailed and turned into a battle ground.

    So glad I found not606 <ok>
