at work today. She was down in Glasgow at the weekend and took in the game. To be honest I really have read little about the game but she was saying it was all rather "flat". I know it was yet another blunder by Clangers but what was the game like? Fair result or not?
Yeah, probably a fair result seeing as we had a couple of shots on target where as the sheep didn't. I see Langfield has been getting abuse on twitter including stuff about his brain seizure last year. Seriously, the only time I hear about twitter is when people are posting sick abuse. Arseholes.
In SPL terms a wee bit generous to Celtic (in that we by no means humped ye) - on the balance of play maybe a fair result (in that we had most of the ball and were always in yer half). The game itself was a bit flat - a bit like a Friendly. This must be what it feels like to support a diddy team every week.
Didn't think we deserved the win, but we were more adventurious although totally usless, so deserved it more than Aberdeen deserved a draw.
it was a bit flat tbh - i thought you looked tidy at the back but, as ever, had very little creativity we were prety poor tbh
It was flatter than a witch's tit. The Dandies played well without ever threatening, closing down and pressing was very good but that was about it, 1-0 was probably about right.
Atmosphere was alright - wasn't brilliant but then Celtic weren't brilliant, either. I thought Aberdeen looked very organised - Rae did his bit and McGinn will come good for them - I think Aberdeen could be 3rd/2nd (seriously).
I'm not biased but the way I see it, allowing for the fact that we didn't have 10 shots on goal, far less on target, it could've been 10-0 to Celtic.
I never even realised it was him That's the first time in years I've seen an Aberdeen defence at Parkhead that could be described as "stable", Hayes and McGinn are going to be troublesome - I know they lost Fyvie but they still have Vernon. Get your money on Aberdeen and United finishing above both Edinburgh teams Whilst I've mentioned Edinburgh teams, since when did Hibs start having a brown strip <boak>?
Aye, even the most fickle of Sheep have had patience with Pa Broon, it might pay off this season. That Hibs strip is rank rotten, just like Hibs for the last couple of seasons.
Half the time we couldn't pass water never mind the ball. I hope we play better than that on Wednesday or I'll be passing way too much water myself...
