I've seen Ben dirs write.several pieces on BBC sport website so I think its his real name. Regards, Toby le Rone
Ben Dirs is a real name. If his tweet ended "Stay classy, Hull..." then what was his next tweet? I've noticed on the paella of a website for BBC Sport that quite often in the twitter feed there the reporters are having to split tweets into two to say what they want to say and are highlighting it with the full stops like that.
Ah cheers lads I should be back for that (although 9 would be better for me, i'll get on to those Olympic schedulers). I missed the gold rush last night as I was on the way home from Headingley.
I think they must have found some of the judges and the refs in Lucky bags. i have just watched an Italian box a Cuban and it was more like no-holds barred wrestling and the ref did Jack ****. Awful...
Come on Luke boy,i want my picture taken with one of them golden post boxes. Get us a gold mate. Had to chuckle when in his interview,he said he only come from a "little town called Hull"
Saw on Twitter then other night, people saying they fancied him until he opened his mouth. We've all been there i'm sure.
Talking of poor boxing officials, has anyone seen this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/olympics/19088420 ^It's who Campbell will face in the next round - he knocks his opponent down 5 times, yet still doesn't win (he's now been given the win on appeal).
We all know boxing is almost traditionally as corrupt as Murdoch, but can't the arseholes who run the sport leave the olympics out of it ?
Best of luck for this afternoon. Problem is is that the wins, up to now, have hardly been convincing.
Radio Humberside..Live on Phil Whites afternoon show from 2pm. Good Luck Luke. Do a Henry Kelly for yourself, Hull and Yorkshire.
