    Walshno5 there is no need for the digs about Windass. If you want to talk about him as a footballer then fine but not his off the field problems.

    He did last season and I back him to do it again.

    The competition should improve him because he plays better with a point to prove. He was a guaranteed starter under Sven no matter how badly he played. Then Nigel came and he lost his place to Jeff Schlupp. Unfortunately Jeff got his injury but in came Beckford and he had to fight for his place and prove his worth and he went on a great run of form through Jan and Feb.

    Even his end of season dip could be because we only had him and Nugent fit (Howard was well past it by then).

    Yes but in a striker that can be a good thing. I still think that footballers should entertain,with Beckford you love him or hate him. Anybody who scores a hat trick playing Forest is a folk hero to me. I will not argue about his attitude but give him the service and who is better in this league?
