You don't stand to gain anything in a straight test of speed or strength by throwing youself to the floor and having a tantrum. Any sport with a referee/umpire has seen it's fair share of tantrums. As you say, olympians and other sports aren't all squeaky clean.

Fireworks are the most ****ing overrated thing in the world. Seen one, seen them all. Every now and then (like, very occasionally) you'll see one awesome one but even then, the best possible reaction is "oh, that was pretty cool".
