There were three arrests for drunkenness and six United supporters were ejected in a chaotic quarter-final. PMK I am sure you missed we are the Kung Fu kickers of the world also but that has nothing to do with reneging on a deal.
Man utd manager and club sec make a sneaky trip to Holland and meet a player contracted to another club to discuss a deal to sign for Utd. The skullduggery came to light in Jaap Stam's autobiography,he was ****ed off by the Utd manager for making it public.
Roma/Italian fans and Italian police are massive ****s. The Italian police are bigger thugs than any set of English football fans.
So correct me if i am wrong but SAF had made a gentlemans agreement personally with Stams club he wouldn`t poach? If not we all know these things happen all the time although i would not condone it.
So correct me if i am wrong but has Rodgers made a cloak and dagger visit to Swansea to discuss terms with any of their contracted players?
No but he has openly made moves against a club he has a gentlemans agreement with. When fans of other clubs know about the agreement, to do it in the public eye just seems worse.
In all seriousness, has he: A: made any definite approaches to them B: Made any kind of agreement (gentleman's or legal) with swansea
When did this turn into the manc bashing thread, we already have one of them! Back on topic, Williams is 28, so unless we pay under £5M for him, which I doubt.... This is just the Daily Fail ramping up their campaign to undermine us at least once a day.
He did make an agreement yes, our chairman released a quoted statement confirming it after the deal was done.
You're correct he did release a statement. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...to-poach-swansea-city-players-91466-31092062/ But has Rodgers confirmed Jenkins was correct about the 'agreement'? I reckon Rodgers should make a statement to clarify the situation so we can all move on, it's getting boring now and Swansea fans are up in arms on different forums and in letters in their local press not just slating him but slating LFC and our supporters, If the agreement was made but was made in private between the two men it's got **** all to do with our club(Jenkins should have got LFC to make the agreement). If on the other hand representitives of both clubs were present when the agreement was made Swansea should complain to the FA. We have a new manager and a new season ahead just like Swansea so just move on.
I have to admit, I haven't read the past 3 pages so apologies if this has been posted already: http://liverpoolscout.com/2012/08/05/ashley-williams-are-fans-fears-unwarranted/ Article gives a statistical analysis of Williams against Agger. Furthermore, I don't think we'll be entertaining any offers for under £25m for Agger (I believe I read that from Tony Barret @ The Times).
