Does anyone now how Faye played? And does he look fit enough to play 90mins either against Rotherham or Brighton?
Stan you don't need to sign up to twitter to see other peoples tweets. Just go search for the person you're interested in and bring their page up, should automatically refresh unless you're on a phone but then you can easily manually refresh it. Soz this is a bit late but it might be useful for the future. Also, you don't HAVE to tweet stuff, you can just knock up an account and follow a few folks you're interested in, its how I mostly use twitter, good for some info and updates. Hullcitylive (Rick Skelton) is probably the best from a fans point of view as he attends most matches and does good updates, rest can be hit and miss but you'll see that for yourself soon enough.
Don't want to be negative but anyone else noticed that apart from Winterton our goals tally has been as pitiful as it was under Pearson and Barmby. No more than 1 goal against Grimsby, Donny, Hartlepool and Rochdale and only 3 against Ferriby (it's usually 5 or 6) Are the same old problems still there?
One reason why i never go to friendlies is because they are fitness exercises, even the minor niggles have stopped us from playing what i suspect will be our regular eleven also. There is never the urgency in a `friendly` or cut and thrust required for a normal league game. Once this group have settled after a dozen or so games and we aint scoring goals, then i`ll be concerned, and until i see what side Bruce puts out with a fit squad, then I for one shall not be concerned. The season starts on Aug 18 (yes i know the Micky mouse cup is on 11th), lets save the goal rush for the important games.
You think ? You should hear him on match days @ the KC ffs. Eh up. The hapless and clueless Chazz coming up with his standard bollox on here again. No surprise though. Steady. He and Cooper looked in complete control most of the time. Game was poor though so hard to judge. Lets see how Faya does against Norwich and Rotherham. The best thing about Hartlepool were the hot dogs. Very nice. I would expect our best FIT 11 against Norwich. Dont expect to see anyone with niggles being involved or risked. Norwich is a game for a few to improve and show what they can do. Time to move up the gears as City have been stuck in 1st gear all pre-season.
Assuming Faye has no reactions to Hartlepool game then he needs 90 mins against Norwich. Then 90 mins against Rotherham. Hopefully Rosie will get some of the Norwich game as well. I dont see Chester being risked this week unless he is 100%.
I wouldn't. I've been to a lot of pre-season friendlies and I don't think I've ever seen a best eleven picked. He might, say, try Fryatt and Proschwitz together from the start, and the midfield might have to pick itself due to injuries but I doubt it'll be a complete best XI.
