Just read that Windsurfing is going to lose Olympic status in Brazil 2016, in favour of Kite Surfing..? I'm staggered. Kite Surfing has been around relatively for 5 minutes, compared to Windsurfing. Why can't there be both..? Is it because I've been thinking of taking it up, for years, and haven't actually got around to it yet..? BTW, Pendleton just cruised past her opponent and is into her semis, tomorrow.
Have to say, I'm in the Ennis camp, on the comparison. The lovely Laura is certainly an English rose, but I like a bit more tan and less pudginess in an athlete.
Each to their own. Normally, I like something to get hold of, but in an athlete, Ennis gets my vote. All yours, young Sir.

More of those abs again..? Much as I hate to say it, there is a layer of podge over my swimming abs, from 20 years ago that are still there if I poke my abdomen. Will this Olympics inspire me to get back into the Pool on a regular basis again..? Not likely to.
Didn't see match today, but Murray certainly showed passion in the semis...came back on to court just to give a second leap for joy. Well done to him.
