Perhaps all us Liverpool fans should migrate to the Swansea board cause there can't be anyone on there as they are all bloody well on here whining about how **** Rodgers is

Not been on today but just wanted to point out the nonsense of the OP. This type of football is not supposed to have a plan B, as with Swansea and Barca you just keep playing and believing.

I think this fits in with our club just fine.

I think it's funny it's been described as the "Swansea Way" like they are the only team to ever keep possession of a football in order to win matches.

Note - Most top teams do it week in week out, however don't need to keep it as long as they have more penatrating attacks. United/City/Arsenal keep the ball just as much but fashion more goal scoring chances which either result in goals (which gives the ball to the opposition again for kick off) or ends in saved shots/goal kicks which again gives possession back.

The thing with Swansea last year was they didn't have as much quality in the final 3rd so when couldn't fashion a chance, they went back to start again.

As mentioned above, if we play Rodgers' way and we win our 75% of our home games and 50% of our away game then we'll be up there come the end of the season.

Pity you can't make wine from those sour grapes of yours, fella!

It is comical, really, the way you all claim it was Martinez that made you what you are, not Rodgers, how Allen is OK but not the finished thing, and we can have him too! Oh how we laugh at all this tosh from you Swans fans.

I mean really, what are you trying to tell us? Do you have a deep seated desire to keep telling us how we are making mistakes? I don't understand why you all keep posting here, about how bad our new manager really is, and how the players he wants from Swansea are actually rubbish. Who are you trying to convince? Us, or yourselves? IF Martinez is so good, why did you not go get him back after Rodgers went? He is obviously available, we could have had him if we wanted, so why didn't you go get him back?

    Hello All...

Not sure if anyone remembers me... I'm back... couldn't resist commenting on this... my take:

Absolutely- if Rodgers made a gentleman's agreement not to buy swans players- he shouldn't go after them... at least if they're not being targeted by anyone. However, if said players are being poached by other clubs- I can't see how it hurts Swansea if we move in for them instead. I don't know what is going on behind the scenes with Allen- but if other clubs, such as a certain potato club, are making moves for him- then I don't think it matters to Swansea if we do too... If you're going to lose him- does it matter to you if he sits on a bench in Anfield or on a bench in White Hart Lane? If we're instigating him moving without any other clubs being involved... then maybe our Rodders is being a tad undiplomatic- and I offer apologies as a red on the fans behalf. That's just not on Brendan... give me your wrist to spank it with a ruler.

I'm not convinced Allen is what we need anyway... He seems like the "Adam" of last year's Blackpool... good player in newly promoted club- turning a few heads but nothing awe inspiring... Solid for a Blackpool or a Swansea (no offense)- but is he really good enough for us and our aspirations?

As for "No Plan B" for Rodgers- if that were truly accurate for Mr. Rod- it makes what he did at Swansea even more impressive... he did that well WITHOUT a backup plan? Means he must really hit the nail on the head for plan A very frequently.

I don't care if he did "copy" style from previous managers at Swansea- the fact he did so well "copying their style" would still be impressive "no"? For example... Say Roy Hodgson went to Man United next season and tried to imitate Red Nose's style- I'd be pretty impressed if old Woy qualified for Europa league. Crap managers can't do more than crap even if they do inherit a successful team and try to imitate the previous manager. If Rodgers wasn't quality- he wouldn't have done as well for Swans as he did.

I'm neither going to laud nor boo Rodgers yet- I'll see what he can do... he's good with the press- and apparently good at impressing the troops... so he has the "morale" part down. He also did well at a smaller (if impressive smaller) club... and yes, smaller in terms of revenue, fan base, history... I'm not bashing the club... just stating a fact- not saying you can't have a glorious future.

Anyhow- just wanted to make the above comment and point out that it is silly for Liverpool and Swansea fans to be at war. We're not historical rivals... we're not geographical neighbours. If Mr. Rodgers is breaking promises... I'm sorry... was to be expected he would look for the best of what he had previously worked with and it may have been naive to imagine someone at this level would honour such an agreement... be nice if he did... but naive to expect he would.

needs to be simplified into a less wordy essay. Allen ain't Adam. Stop generalsing and call Spurs Totenham, not potato club.

Can't really be arsed to talk about Spurs, they are just a mid-table club, Harry dragged them into the top four, and they sacked him and replaced him with the man who fooked up Royal style at Chelsea. Utter madness, the fact that they nicked Gylfi from under our noses means they get on my goat right now. looking forward to watching them spiral back down to mid-table mediocrity under the mis-guidence of AVB next year.

hmmm... that sounds as though you rated him...

I honestly don't understand why you're getting your knickers in a twist about Allen, he's been a long term target for us, we wanted him when Kenny was in charge, do you think the change in management has somehow changed that need within our team?

UEFA wont do **** as they are in charge of football across Europe. They'd tell you to direct the complaint towards the FA... The FA would look at the complaint, probably contact Liverpool and then we'd probably quote the EU's Community acquis and The FA would be stumped

I'd agree with your view, you should be <ok>

I know a lot of clubs who would be very happy to have a trophy count like that. It's also admirable as the trophy count is over a number of years, a proper history. There aren't many clubs who can boast achievements in the 10's, 20's, 30's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and now. You can only beat what's in front of you
