this is a game that inspires me with little optimism if shrews put on a performance like the second half against stockport. hereford stats results d a millers 0-0, w h spires 3-0, d h wobblers 0-0, d a gills 0-0 L a ackers 4-0 p42 4 12 d 14 L16 f47 a61 gd -14 p 47 pos. 17 shrews p42 w18 d12 L11 f66 a49 gd17 p69 pos 4th bulls had 3 good results against spires, gills and wobblers, if town can play for 90 minutes like they played in the first half against stockport, they may have a chance. town need 12 points to ensure they keep up with wobblers who had a bad result on saturday. there are several interesting games on friday, saturday and monday, and we may have a clearer picture of where we are on monday night. 3rd? floreat salopia, if i was a shrews fan next saturday i would wear a safety helmet as when i went past edgar street this morning on my way back to devon the whole place looked "hanging". good luck shrews, breathe on 'em shrews
Edgar Street is indeed 'hanging'! 1-3 to Salop with Ainsworth getting a brace on his return & of course, Leslie scoring a blinder against us.
fortunately Leslie cannot play against us. Talking of braces Cureton bagged two for Exeter on Saturday.
Mats.. Can he not, well that's good. I think we've all had enough of ex-players old & new coming back & haunting us. Ps.. Isn't it good to see someone tell Wenger to 'PISS OFF'! Loved it..
Was that the 'fruity language' the BBC talked about? It'll take every drop of Turner's managerial experience if we're gonna get the points. Bit of grit to go with our class wouldn't go amiss either. COYB!
Wenger added Dalglish to his long list of enemies after the Arsenal- Lpool draw today. Wenger moaned about the penalty even though it was apparently stonewall and then Dalglish countered with some 'fruity language'
as atcham lives in devon does he want me to pick him up on friday morning on my way through and take him with me to see the blues at torquay
thank you rocky for your offer but i have had my 4 days respite care as 96 year old mother comes out of hospital and i have to resume full time care. if it is any help i have the gulls and wobblers as a`1-1 draw. defeat for either may be curtains. i suspect neither team need jelly on the plate or a wibble wobble. but you never know
Hereford are a bunch of time wasters simple! If you get a good ref on the day, he might sort it out. Just don't get a ref as bad has the one we had (see Albums).
We always get great referees in charge at shrewsbury, trouble is they usually have a mental lapse and forget the rules or their glasses.
No you lot should have won that game fair and square, we didn't deserve any points. The ref did try by allowing one clear goal for us and allowing a clear no-goal for you.
Hereford v Shrewsbury, you need the ref we had last Saturday against Morecambe, several yellows for time wasting, one down side...he gives away dodgy penalty's
