The operative word being "rabid" I'd suggest putting the **** oot his misery. Best for all concerned parties.
Game yesterday was absolute mince. A throwback to the old Strachan days of 250 passes just to get out of our own half. No pace at all. Missed Broon and Forrest particularly. Matthews is the only person who looks matchfit so far. I actually missed the goal because I turned away in disgust at Commons mishitting his cross
Wanyama looked a lot better in the midfield. Kayal definitely isn't fit, I forgot he was playing until he got subbed.
Kayal did alright in the first half I thought but ran out of steam. I'm finding it a wee bit worrying that we still can't settle on a CB pairing. Hopefully we won't have a repeat of last season when I think we had a different pairing in 15 consecutive games or something daft like that - imo the main reason we went so far behind up to November. Wanyama is wasted in defence and has a tendency to take unnecessary risks. Rogne is a good defender but his distribution is not great. Wilson actually did well when he came on but I'm far from convinced. I think Charlie M was suspended yesterday so he should straight back in the team but I'm not sure who his partner should be.
Thanks to the very many nice comments earlier on, seem to hit on something that switched on the nasty buttons. I thought it was particularly enlightening to know according to one avid fan that we were playing a back three. Poor Mick couldn't get a ticket as he thought 48,000 was a full house. The slagging off of players, manager and board would carry more weight from people who actually attend the game. Those who spend time out sun bathing rather than watching a viewing really deserve the final say.
Stop avoiding the question Medro, give us a breakdown of how you saw the game and who in your opinion were the star performers and why.
Hoops, who apparently reads only the Celtic forum, seems to be using Medro's attendance stats of 80%.
Dev, exactly what was wrong with me saying that now we had seen the opinions of the fans who had watched on tv or laptop If I didn't know better, I would think that some people who watched the match at home were feeling a little bit guilty. I wouldn't think so as there are many reason fans may not attend games and I don't know why anyone should judge.
Where did you get your "80% of people on here don't attend matches" idea? A simple question, should be easy to answer.
I can assure you I have no interest whatsoever what Medro says on GC I have to confess I don't even know what GC is or what the initials GC stand for. Another thing I have not been on a Rangers forum in the last twelve months. I have never been on any other club's forum ever and I certainly will not be going on any lower division club's boards. I will not associate with Sevco's members and am glad to see they have almost all left our board. The 80% was based on a calculated guess. I am surprised how many seemed to be annoyed with my mentioning of the lap top or television fans. Really I don't know why some of you took such offence, is it a case of a wee bit of guilty conscience. It couldn't be , could it?
I am concerned how easy it has been to wind-up and annoy some of our very clever tactic wise fans. If I had known talking about them watching the matches on television or laptops, I wouldn't have mention it at all. No point in getting all worked up and annoyed over something so simple.
Your logic is about as good as your writing skills. There are Celtic fans who live far away from Celtic Park and who can't attend every game - if you can't understand or accept this very simple point then you are very stupid.
