The Swansea fans are priceless. We have only really been properly linked to one player and thats Allen, who I don't think is anywhere nearly good enough anyway. If you do sell him to us, you should be grateful as it should keep you up from playing Chesterfield and Oxford for another season, where you truly belong.

I'd actually like to see us take a sneaking go at getting Jagielka. I'm a big fan.

They're all rumours, for goodness sake.

99% of managers buy at least one or two former players.

We'll get Allen probably, and we have Borini.

Big deal, complete and utter non-story.

Yea well, we are just winding up the Swans fans today, you got to have something to chat about in the close season, unless you would like to talk about the women's marathon?

You think us jacks have 'Simple Minds' eh?? Trust me, the lack of 'Plan B' was a recurrent theme throughout last season not just some 'Garbage' being spouted off.... check back on the Swans older threads (when we could actually talk about things on the pitch) and 'U2' will see this. During 'The Clash' with managers like Moyes/Lambert, they must must have read 'The Script' and certainly found 'The Cure' to his possession 'Stylistics'.

We did not have the resources to play any other way, so 'The Selector' had no 'Oasis' of expensive talent. With Liverpools clout, 'No Doubt' BR should have less 'Crass' and be able to have more than 'One Direction'. Just enjoy 'The Ride'.

We are just trying to give you a heads up before 'The Alarm' bells and 'The Klaxons' go off. Hopefully he will get it right before you show him 'The Doors'.

Wow really? That's fantastic banter son, you're almost as clever as mancini and his 'we're the best club in England' spiel. You'll lose Agger to City if they offer more than £20mill, FSG will snap their hands off.
And yes... we belong in the Premiership - because we worked to get here. A new era of success is beckoning for us - when your success was many many years ago. Your talisman is on the way out, you've many botched signings and you have flipped from manager to manager. Sounds like a really well run club who are in the English top 4..... or maybe not.
You aren't a top 4 club... stop living in the past and focusing on the present.

One more thing from the (terribly poor WUM attempt) OP - it is not the 'Swansea' way.

Teams have been playing in such a style long before Swansea, and have been doing much better than Swansea have for a long time too.

Rodgers took an existing style and enacted it at Swansea - that does not make it the 'Swansea style' when he moves to another club.

Yea i can just imagine the talk in the Welsh pubs after gaining promotion to the Prem and after finishing 11th an amazing achievement.

"yea getting promoted and staying in the prem was a great achievement, just wish we had a plan b"

Lol, it's BS, and it looks even more silly when you type it out.

    I just had another thought.

In Rodgers interview after the Gomel game he said the system wasnt quite working, so he brought on Lucas and paired him and Spearing as two holding players so that they could dominate the middle of the field. We settled down and quickly squad the winning goal.

    I cal that plan B.

You haven't been the top club in England for two decades... you haven't won a league title since then. The league is the most important thing and unless you deliver then it's not success. Unless you bag a Champions league... which you did once since 1990 to your credit, but one Champions league in the last 20 years means very little.

    In comparison...
Manchester United since August 1990 - 12 league titles, 2x Champions League, FA cup x4, league cup x4, Community Shield x9, UEFA Cup Winners Cup, UEFA super cup.
Liverpool since August 1990 - 0 league titles, 1 European cup, FA cup x3, league cup x4, 2 community shields, 1 UEFA cup and 1 UEFA super cup.
