I wonder if Charlie is going to start a thread about their 1-1 draw with Hartlepool today - Lucky for them Stewart tapped in an equaliser or they'd have lost two on the bounce against lower league opposition after losing to Donny Rovers 3-1

just to fully update our p/s friendlies. friday night saw the mighty shrews at worcester where we "cruised" to a 3-2 away win, after donating 2 penalties.

now it is up to leeds for the league cup. we fear no one but respect. wonder if we could get the game switched to the olympic stadium, quite a lot of support up there.

We didnt have banter. We played a friendly which meant nothing and you lot thought you had won the FA Cup

 

First Hull, now Shrewsbury. What is it with these tiny clubs trying to start some kind of rivalry with us? I know they'd like to be like Leicester, but it isn't going to happen.

Nothing elitist about it. I have time for fans of any clubs who have the right attitude. But this guy has been acting like his club have achieved something against us which is quite comical and a little sad.

As Danger said, Shrewsbury are a tiny club (shrew-sized you may say - sorry couldn't resist). They're a former conference side that haven't been in the same league as us for over 15 years. And I wouldn't class them as local rivals, so I'm not sure why they -well, one of them- has been hanging around for over a week bragging about friendly results, only one of which concerned us in any way.

 

i suspect our games against brum and wolves may affect you later in the season. no we are not manchester utd, but were known as the man utd of the conference, during our brief 1 year stay in the conference. incidentally we beat man utd 2-1 in a pre season friendly last year.

Good luck for the season jack. I suspect that if we had beaten arsenal, chelsea of one of the manchester clubs pre season, then 1 or 2 of our posters may have been on their board too.
