So who exactly do you suggest as having the worst day if not the guy who missed his start box, turned off his engine and then got a penalty for speeding in the pits? either of the first 2 were worthy of CPitF award, but all 3 together...."oh, but it's Schumacher and I have an unhealthy fixation with him"
I find the current troll influx disappointing. Like, some originality, some subtlety. Whatever happened to the good old days?
yeah, it's twice he's incorrectly spelled my name, which I find far more insulting than his poor attempts to rile me. How hard is it to copy a 7 letter typed word? talk about thick.I'm now awaiting the inevitably unoriginal 'muggins' slur. Aye, even LewisWDC had more originality than this sad Poomacher fan.
I am a Schumacher fan, but don't relate me to them, or make childish names out of a legend because of it, have a problem? Get them banned.
*I knew I forgot adding something here!* The people that said I was bitter and talking **** when I said SkysportsF1 were a bunch of McLaren arse kissers at the start of the season What's that on the rear wing in the second post eh? http://www.f1technical.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11755&start=3540 Now we know why McLaren get 90% of the coverage... When's the second date Sky? I sure hope it isn't Italian!
Was saying to my brother that I hope the BBC sponsor RBR for a laugh and then we got some proper rivalry going on!
That would be good! Err, hang on a sec. (Rethink) No. Actually, it wouldn't. It would lead to Ferrari boycotting the British Grand Prix, persuading Bernie to try dropping us from the calendar … (again).
Didn't Sky sponsor Red Bull once upon a time? I guess Jack Horner ran them off somehow... You should call for his head.
You should see the driver cams, it is either on Button or Hamilton when they are out on track, so annoying.
They're not as bad as they were at the start.... The plot would be like this: *Titles*, greetings and replay of the last race... Something about McLaren...talk about the last winner unless its Lewis or Jenson and instead we get a 10 minute talk about how brilliant it was even if the race was boring..... talk about the other McLaren driver....talk to Whitmarsh on what's going on after the win and talk about this weekend...., Damon and Herbert start talking about McLaren and their current form. *adverts*.....McLaren cartoon comes up.... (((Something about the majority of other teams in F1)))....recording of Lewis, he starts talking about the track and country and how fantastic the fans are (PR crap)....Kravitz starts stalking the McLaren garage and talks about what upgrades there are.....Davidson and Thompson then start going through how to get the perfect lap around the current track mostly involving a McLaren on the screen...*more Santander adverts*.... Entire focus on the duo and their times, sometimes trying to reassure the public if somehow the duo get 17th-18th on practice....maybe an odd swipe at RBR, Lotus or Ferrari "ooohhh they don't look quick around here, *end of practice* "I think our boys have a good chance this weekend"....patriotic bollox.....Damon starts talking about how good or bad mclaren are looking today and if we get treated "at how certain he is this time", if Lewis doesn't get pole or win he will shuve the mic up his arse as a magic trick!....More talk about other teams and mostly about who the biggest threat to mclaren is...etc etc... Same **** all through the weekend until after the race. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. If anybody has any recordings of the qualifying and the race on Sky, I would love to see how much coverage McLaren as a whole gets by using a stop watch or something. If McLaren doesn't have at least double the coverage of all the other F1 teams put together, I'll eat my words on a sheet of paper! After the last race I would put it down to 50-60% of entire coverage by Sky when compared to the start of the season when it was 80%+ I'll nag about this but I won't get into an argument about it as I would love for somebody here to (prove) me wrong that it isn't true, though I'm highly confident they won't be able to do it. And it has to be the (entire coverage) from the F1 show to practice to qualifying to race day and finally the after show. It must also include family members of the McLaren crew, the dads, the mums, the managers, everybody related including Ron!
I take it that neither of you watch the McLaren Tooned cartoons then? That might just push you over the edge.
Sky don't have to pretend to be impartial like the BBC. I (just) about prefer blatant bias to people being bias and pretending they're not (I'm looking at you Coulthard). I'd prefer neutral coverage but if its a British broadcaster on British TV I'd be pretty miffed if they were supporting anyone else other than the British drivers in British cars
I have! I've seen the one with buzz lightyear and woody and the one with the rat trying to be a chef. Didn't see Jenson or Lewis in either though.
I'm pretty sure Red Bull and Christian 'interview me about anything at all' Horner have their fair share of coverage
