I'm going to Wolves match for two reasons: 1) I can't get to many games including any other friendly and 2) I want to show support and put my small share of gate money in the coffers. I was really disappointed not to be able to get to the Memorial Cup for second year running as I feel strongly that I want to say thanks in a small way.
A flashback to the 6-0 at Molineux in 2007 is on Saints Player. Good watch for those who have Player. Wolves pre-season results so far include a 5-1 win over Bray Wanderers, a 3-0 win over Walsall and a 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury town. Looks like they're sticking with the 5 across the middle, but they are likely to push forward as they look to make some of the quality in their squad count in an attempt to make a quick return to the PL. This will be their last friendly match before they kick off the campaign against Aldershot in the league cup. Should be a cracking game.
For those wondering about him, Tadanari has said in his blog that he will restart full training with the squad as of Monday.
So excited for this game. Make or break stuff. Win and we get into Europe, lose and we might as well give up now.
Great memory. This was my son's first away match aged just 5. I remember sitting there after about 20 minutes of watching Wolves batter us, thinking "please Saints at least hold out for a draw, so my son doesn't get put off".... they battered us that day and we had six shots and scored six goals - great stuff.
I would go but I'm at a wedding! Sorry guys, the minibus might have a few empty seats. I know it's not important, but I would be happy to watch saints play even if it was against a sunday league team.

No surprise. Not an appetising game. Also, sandwiched between Ajax and Udinese. I'm going to Udinese, but could've gone to Wolves. Not a hard decision for me.
Amazed that many have been sold. 4 home friendly games, Olympics going on, summer hols and very stupid pricing of tickets. Anything more than £5 for adults and £1/free for kids is daft IMHO. In fact, the club should have made at least one of these friendlies FREE for season ticket holders.

I saw on the Wolves website they are charging £10 for the first round of the League Cup for a competitive match, versus £15 saints are charging for a friendly.
