It is very clear, Ferdinand accused Cole of being a choc-ice (black on the outside, white on the inside) this is clearly racist. The precedent for racist behavior has already been set, an 8 game ban, so if Rio receives any less than this, then it is an absolute disgrace without question.

No Mancs will answer this question, not that it will matter if Rio gets banned, he is **** anyway.

Psycho, its the way the FA deal with racism and missing drug tests.

    'Probability'

Hence the massive ban and the lasting stigma thats attached.

"so guess repeating it 7 times is a costume too back in Uruguay !!"

I assume you mean custom? Let's make this 100% clear - there is absolutely no incontravertable evidence that Suarez said negro/nigga/blackie or any other insult more than once, and the only evidence he said that was from Suarez's own mouth. even after he knew there was no cctv or other evidence of him saying it at all. Evra himself never used the figure seven, and neither did Ferguson when he reported Suarez calling Evra a 'nigga' to the referee while Evra himself was standing there and damn well knew he hadn't but didn't correct him.

You may as well infer that I'm trying to say that there's a custom in Uruguay of saying negro forty three times, four times, eighty two times or fourteen times, as there's as much evidence of Suarez saying it that many times as there is he said it seven.

Evra lied in court, Suarez did not.

Yes he was charged, but not with failing a drugs test... classic KPR-like logic at work.

That is right soft lad abandon thread, because you are losing, you know deep down that Suarez is no more guilty than JT or Rio. So quit all your false bravado and divert your energies to how your lot of mugs will stop City. In short ain't gunna happen, so don't waste your energies on that either, get some sleep lad<ok>

Aren't both Rio and Cashley black? How is it racist? I'm just curious. Are they going to fine black people when they call each other the N word?

"by the way choc-ice is not racist .. Negro is silly boy"

Says who? Rio? "So there" clinches the argument?

Okay, let's use the standard "is-it-racist-ometer" espoused by so many man U fans on this thread and during this discussion in general. If someone was to say the word negro, a dictionary definition btw, is not racist the cry spings up "just say that word to a black man then and see what happens!". Soooo, if you go up to a black man and say "hi there, choc-ice!", or if some berk goes up to Mike Tyson and calls him that and you, as a black man, applaud and say "Ha, ha, ha: choc-ice, that's classic!" do you think Clark Carlisle, Lord Ousely, Luther Blissett or Geroge Galloway will step in and say "Whoa feller, it's just slang and it's not racist..."

Because Rio is basically saying the black man should back another black man against a white man, if he doesn't he'll be branded an extremely offensive word like choc ice or bounty. Uncle Tom is the original phrase I believe.

If it's intended as an insult and skin colour is referred to then it breaks rule 3a and the precedent has been set eight months ago. the FA's rules (and indeed the law of the land) make no distinction that the transmitter of a racial insult is okay if the recipient is the same race, nor does it allow homosexuals to verbally abuse each other or women or so forth.

Welcome to the worms escaping from the opened can.

The precedent was set long before, 2002 I do believe with John Mackie, Suarez was not the first and I very much doubt he will be the last.
