Well, there's a tale to finally get a wee bit of excited about.

I fully agree with the GIB's* here, the lad hasn't been touted as a prospect and watched by a number of top clubs for no reason.

... A loan deal would be ample for both clubs and player! Limited costs & risks (but with all due respekt; frankly I just don't see Man City loosing out on this striker gem, even if he doesn't do the world and more for us: he is only 20yrs old, and will have to be assesed long term by City or any other club. I mean why should they loose on wht they allready have, to the competion when it might most likely come back to bite & haunt them sooner or later, as the nxt real striker-deal?

You may well be correct there mind, although i am a little curious as to why your first post on this forum would be on the Sunderland board...

WRONG, WRONG WRONG. How any games have you watched in the Dutch league? I am starting to wonder about your posts now. Ive WATCHED them week in /week out for over ten years, most of my work is in Holland. What you just posted is complete and totally unfounded bollocks.

Right calm down William. One 'I disagree' would have been quite sufficient.

You wonder about whatever posts you like. **** knows what that means but I'm sure there was something behind it.

Yeah I've watched them. I lived in Brussels for 6 years up until recently and we watched it all that time, the Belgian league, the dutch leage and to a lesser extent the french league.

    So what's bollocks?

    The league is utter ****e?

Or Campbell is just far and away too good a player for the league?

Because I stick with what I said. I think the dutch league is alright. It's not the Spanish, English, Italian, French of German but it's a decent league.

I don't think Campbell would score many goals over there. He's never had a great record in front of goal, apart from in the Belgian second division and the Championship.

The dutch league may not be at the same level as the premier league but it's far better than the a second tier league.

So what was unfounded bollocks? What was so WRONG, WRONG, WRONG that you will now question my posts?

I f you could get him out of Citeh permanently he'd be a coup. Very good player with huge potential. Hasn't seen much first team action until last season. The very fact Citeh fought hard to keep him when Twente nearly nicked him tells you he has talent.

That's Mel! I've known her since she was about 14, I'm still shocked that she manages to get onto every site these days..

By the way, who mentioned Odemwingie? You must be joking. Given that the option to buy Guidetti (beyond the loan) is in a years time, Guidetti would be 21. Odemwingie would be 32. Building for the future yeah? If we got Odemwingie next summer we'd have to replace him a year later. What a shocker.

Would be a great deal if you managed to get him on loan with a buy out clause should he do well, a goal a game is good in any top tier league at his age imo. Look at the fuss over Rhodes in ****ing League One <doh>

It would indeed be a good signing and hope it comes off, however the more days it drags on the less confidence I have in it(or anything) happening
