Additional Pre Season Game.

For anybody wanting to catch a warm up game.

Newcastle have arranged an additional pre-season game and a Magpies XI will make the trip to Hartlepool's Victoria Park this coming Tuesday, August 7th.

The game is billed as a first team friendly and looks designed to give those players who don't have major roles to play on Saturday against Den Haag some further pitch time.

Kickoff is confirmed as 7.30pm and admission will be by paying at the turnstiles on the night: £10 adults and £5 concessions with no concessions for students.

The away section for this game will be the 3,500 capacity Niramax Stand aka the Millhouse Stand (pictured) which runs the length of the pitch opposite the main stand and contains both standing areas and seats.

And if required, the 1,000 covered seats behind the goal at the Rink End (now re-christened the Smith & Graham Stand) are available as an overspill for black & whites.

 

I seem to remember there was a bit of a car parking problem the last time we went there, so it might pay to get there early if you're driving.

Of course there's a pretty good public service to Hartlepool so getting there shouldn't be much of a problem.

I'll be there. No doubt having a few relaxing pints on the marina beforehand. Cracking setting for a couple of beers if it's warm.
