I'll get me wallet out so... £5 for dempsey and 20mil for gaston.... that should work... then i'll sell carroll for 25mil to city... i'm sure if we ring up again they'll bite...
Good news! Liverpool have submitted a formal offer of £12.6million to Bologna for midfielder Gaston Ramirez, according to reports in Italy. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...ol-table-£12m-bid-bologna-star-reports-177899
Or for the Italians amongst us.... http://www.calciomercatonews.com/ul...ramirez-luruguagio-ad-un-passo-dal-liverpool/
if we get him for that little thats a STEAL. he doesn't look all that but uruguay were not great and shuffled him about. there were glimpses of a player that reminded me of the days when patrick berger lit u pthe kop with wonder goals. lets see what actually happens cos that sounds too cheap to me.
It's the Italians, you never know. Apparently Guisseppe Rossi who Tottenham couldn't get last year and even went up to I think 25 mil for him, could be going to AC for ...... 7 million. ****ing nuts they are. Cheeky bid for Marcos Senna? Give us 2 good years and help the youngsters grow? Doubt it I know.
Yeah, sounds 50% too cheap. Then again, the poor Italian teams might accept it. He didn't do too much in the Olympics, but then again its just that, the Olympics and not their national team set up and manager. Scored a cracking free kick and has a great left foot in general.
the euro exchange rate is what 0.78 or something so add 20% odd to the sterling number, that helps. the italians are up to their necks in debt and i think the whole country has had its neck pulled in. If AC are balancing thier books and Juve are only making paper talk about RVP then bologna might just take 16-17 mil euros. who knows... lets see what happens but 12.6mil for him verses 10mil for dempsey? is there really a comparison... i think the 7mil sterling (i hope) for aquilani has maybe freed the deal... we're on a tight budget!
Just a starter offer, we will probably meet somewhere in between 12.6 and 20m. I'm gonna guess we will land him for £16.8m
And the Bale one was from Spanish news reports. The whole transfer regarding Ramirez strikes me as very similar to the Mata/Aguero stuff from last summer. Everyone was determined that they should/would/could come to LFC and they went elsewhere and we got Downing and Henderson instead.
