    Touchy.

    It's true though. If you think Clichy is the best left back in the Prem you are mental. Cissokho had one good season about 3 years ago and ever since Lyon signed him they've been wanting to get shot of him. He isn't even the best left back at Lyon FFS.

    To be fair I don't think many of us really have the knowledge of the leagues to be able to put a Lique 1 and Serie A sides together. You'd need to be seeing games week in week out. Ashley Cole is still the best left back playing in this country. Certainly better than Clichy. Clichy might not even be the best at Man C! Kolarov is top class, I suppose it depends on the oppo. If you want a marauding full back who is gonna push on then Kolarov is the main. Delivers a high class ball in the box. Defensively Clichy probably edges it.

    And your comment about Serie A; you don't know how many games other people have seen, and don't take it so seriously, It was just a thread made for a bit of fun.

    Seriously? Not sure what you mean, I'd just struggle to name a team and would be doing it off highlights and reputations. I don't know how many games everyone has seen hence I said I doubt many have seen enough games as to not generalise. You and Strawberry have just misread the sentence. I'd hazard a guess that most people don't watch Ligue 1 and Serie A every week <laugh>

    But don't let that get in the way of a good moan.

    Each to their own. He can be erratic but he is top class and excellent dead ball taker. Clichy is better suited to Man C style though. Back to the english lessons for the other bit.<laugh>
