Shelvey is definately one of the future, still a bit rough around the edges.

 

Now that looks like a great team! ... Hendo will be fantastic this season too i reckon, Rodgers will bring the best out of him

Shelvey looks a completely different player than a few years ago. He was brainless and used to run about like a headless chicken. Now he's getting into that creative player mold and it's clear that he's smartened up. I believe in 2 years will be a starter for us. Now however I'd prefer Ramirez but Shelvey definitely has a place in the club.

 

I think the best thing Shelvey did was go out on loan to Blackpool. Seems to have come back a much better player.

Would like to see something similar with Suso/Sterling. Go out on loan for 3-6 months to a decent upper Championship team that are going to keep the ball and pass it (Bolton/Brighton/Blackpool?). Would give them a taste of first team football and be more beneficial than playing 10 minutes now and then for us and then rest of the time on the bench or in the reserves.

Shelvey has come on very well still room for improvement but far better then when he first joined us

On topic glad to see the back of Aqua it just never worked out for him at LFC.We bought him when he was injured then he could not get in the team we loaned him out TWICE+the fact that he did not like it at Liverpool.The best thing to do was cut our losses and we have 7£million +the money for his wages

Like mentioned would love to see the back of Cole to that would cut the wage bill by 832.000£ for the coming season.

I heard through a very reliable source that due to the fact we didn't qualify for CL for Woys season and since, we got out of paying a large chunk of transfer fee for Aqua provided he didn't go over 30 competitive caps... Hence the inexplicable loaning out each season and the rush to sell him now.

 

I would happily play you online however, I am on the Xbox and do not have online access. Also still still can't move my thumb properly after breaking my arm
