I think getting rid of the wages is the most important thing.

delighted... btw, I ALSO TOLD YOU ALL!!!

I think 13mil of H&G money should not concern us but getting 7mil in and 70k to whatever people think is a good good thing for us... he has no heart, no drive and is just not up to it despite his obvious talents.

btw if you looked at the original deal as published on the roma website at the time then the terms of this deal meant we paid the 20mil. the add ons if we were in CL etc would have made th fee even higher... you can google it, i'm not going to bother providing a link.

We've now got 7mil to spend... maybe add another 20mil off carroll and just maybe we'll get our two targets in. low net spend this year for SURE.

Would love to see Joe Cole leave - he seems to have his head and heart in the right place but I can't see him adding anything more to the team, or any real justficiation for his high wages.

Apparently we're gonna be saving approx £15m in wages after Aqua leaves which is obviously a huge amount.

I do feel that we are moving in the right direction - no more extortionate contracts, no more astronomical fees, value for money, hard bargaining. It will still take a while for us to correct the mistakes from the previous regime but at least we're heading in the right direction.

I feel we would have brought Dempsey and Allen in regardless of any outgoings. I think we can probably expect a 'biggish' signing to come in soon - maybe Ramirez as well? ...

Ramirez and Gaitan would be lovely. I'll get BR on the phone and will go to the next block to see what Henry thinks. <ok>

Gaitan would be awesome - another tricky, creative player who can link the midfield and attack.

If we brought in Allen and Dempsey, I would consider them as safe, common sense signings. They're coming in to fill in some gaps and keep us ticking over.

But a signing of either Ramirez or Gaitan could be risky or it could pay massive dividends - these are the players that can win a match from one moment of brilliance.

We don't have many people like this - Suarez and Gerrard spring to mind but I really can't think of someone else who could just grab the ball and do something magical that change the match on it's head.

I believe, given the chance, Shelvey would be able to do this, such a talented and intelligent player!

Completely agree with you, Shelvey would be one of the first names for me.
