Fee agreed of around 750k. Question is where are we getting that money from? Sale of snoddy? or from somewhere further east?

    Further east than Norwich?

    From Greater Yarmouth?

I could see this one happening with the proceeds we received for Snoddy. I have a feeling NW is weighing up his options, keep McCormack and sign Peltier with the money or use it for a cash plus player exchange for CMS - Noticed on the Sky News ticker tape that one of their strikers are injured (Brighton) so I would imagine that rules out anything other than a player going their way.

Pelts is an average championship defender. He was solid at times last season but a liability at others

Proud, there seems to be some real mixed opinions about him from Festa fans

Decent signing. For all my concerns about our ability going forward the back 5 is looking a lot stronger.

Ha! Back 5? More like back 16 the way Colin's going. :emoticon-0104-surpr

It's starting to look a bit like Mancini's striker colection of a couple of seasons ago but the other way round.

Im not too bothered he's going

He is an old fashioned full back, he doesnt get forward or run with the ball often. What really annoyed me with him is his reluctance to take someone on or run with the ball. He cuts inside and passes short every time. He is a decent player to have in the squad but i wouldnt want him as first choice again

Oh dear, I was hoping he was an overlapping FB to make up for our lack of a pacey right sided midfielder, a Tony Dorigo style fullback, only a right footed version.

Like who? Peltier's not a world beater but he's solid enough and frankly I can't see any better players available.

Like Hunt at Huddersfield, but as you say, Peltier's available, so seems a decent enough alternative <ok>

He can be solid, quite often when tracking back he loses his man. Thats his main weakness

I can't see a better RB being available for this price or cheaper - Yes there are better ones out there but having a few million to prise them away is a different matter.

"Like who?" Tony Dorigo, LUFC & England left back. Played for Leeds in promotion winning side in 90's. Top drawer defender.

If Hunt is so good why was Grayson trying to sign Peltier as well?

Grayson couldn't spot a good defender if it hit him in the face...O'Brien, O'Dea etc. a bit of a worry he wanted to sign Peltier.

Grayson was very limited in who he was able to sign. Grayson would never have got the fees needed for Pearce or Peltier.
